This week saw confirmation on IMDbPro of Robert’s involvement in Damsel.  Yeah yeah I know about those pics but you know my opinion of sneaky shots. So let’s get to what else we were treated to this week. THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER Kicking off the week with that glorious HQ still thanks to Posh. Hong Kong will have two screenings as part of the Summer International Film Festival in August and they unleashed a new poster that includes Robert.  The Irish Film Institute is holding a special preview screening and a Q&A with Liam Cunningham. Envy is they name. VICE interviewed Brady. Dear interviewers please actually do some research about Robert’s fanbase instead of “assuming” you know who they are.  I think Brady did a good job shutting down “Kim”. I have updated the US cinema roundup post adding Michigan and San Diego and I created one for the UK as more and more cinemas are starting to list upcoming screenings. I also updated the reviews given the release in LA this week. DAMSEL: Finally! Robert and Mia’s names have been added to the cast on IMDbPro. QUEEN OF THE DESERT:  Slovenia is screening the film on 30 July 2016. Greece has posted a new release date – 18 August. Fingers crossed this one sticks for real and you can now rent in South Africa via DSTv. THE LOST CITY OF Z:  Studio Canal NZ and UK look to have May in their sights to release the film.  IN OTHER NEWS: The Age (Melbourne newspaper) included The Childhood of a Leader in top picks at Melbourne International Film Festival .  A very interesting read at Screen Daily about film festivals esp Venice & Cannes rivalry.  LIFE is still in cinemas in Brazil and Brazil is also holding free screenings of Claire Denis films until 4 August at Cine Humberto Mauro. Michelle has been on FOXTEL watch and let’s us know when Robert is on  our TVs.  For those interested, you can check out Brady Corbet’s debut feature.  Coming up next week Sydneysiders can catch Queen of the Desert at Riverside Theatre.  Looking forward to seeing what we might be spoilt with next week … until then.
