Another day another film festival for Robert Pattinson, “The Childhood of a Leader”.  The film will compete at the International Film Festival “Zerkalo” (“The Mirror”) which will be held from 14 to 19 June in the cities of Ivanovo, Plyos and Yuryevets.  From the official website:

The competition program of the anniversary of the festival traditionally presents movies in a wide geo-cultural, genre and stylistic range: from Colombia to Kyrgyzstan, from Latvia to the UK, from the parable to the chronicles of the imitation of old movies to technologically equipped modern animation. …

Predictions about the decline of auteur cinema, about the total triumph of mass spectacles were not justified. And new technologies are not just mass culture, but also those who are experimenting, developing the language of cinema.
