It’s been a quieter week this week, or perhaps it’s just me since I’ve had quite a few things going on that have kept me away from being online as much as usual. I’m still in shock at waking up to the news about Prince on Thursday and sad as well. His talent will be sorely missed. GOOD TIME:  I love that Buddy is in the film – he has this presence on screen I can’t explain. Also if you haven’t listened to Buddy on Chillin Island, you should, but cheeky buggers again saying he wasn’t involved in the film, although it’s possible that wasn’t the plan back then.  We now know too that his character’s name is Ray. Curious as to his role - I still remember Buddy’s boxing techniques at the production office during that French intro the Safdie’s did when Heaven Knows What was released in France earlier this year. QUEEN OF THE DESERT: Although quiet on the US front, at least we know the Czech Republic and Slovakia now have a distributor for the film. I’ve also tweeted screening times for one of the Slovakian cinemas.  Also, Palace Cinemas have now added the film under “coming soon” in Victoria, Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane.  I was hoping they would – that’s where I initially saw it and will be seeing it there again. The Australian poster has also been unveiled, but no Rob on it. If anyone in Sydney is interested in learning more about Gertrude Bell, WEA is having a 1 day seminar on 27 May. I came across a brilliant UK review for the trailer that stated  “T. E. Lawrence, played by Robert Pattinson who gives another performance that will, no doubt, further shed prejudices of his Twilight days and cement his place as one of the greatest actors of our time” I’ll definitely be adding that to the movie review post. THE GO CAMPAIGN | #weGOforRob: Amazing effort from Rob’s fans, but we seem to have stalled on  the weekend. Still we have plenty of time to reach that $13,000 goal. Please donate if you can. Also loving Jules edits – loving them not to mention our support banner. THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER: How cool it reading Liam Cunningham’s excitement for this film – it ramps up mine a couple of notches if that’s even possible. We know that the film will be released in Sweden on 13 May 2016, and I came across a screening on 15 May 2016 at Scala Bio, Bastad and also Arenan Karlstads . It also looks like Sunflower Entertainment are handling VOD and TV rights for the film in Sweden. LIFE:  What a palaver with the Spanish DVD release dates. Is it – isn’t it.  Sheesh. DVDGO was right in the end. Turkey sneakily released its DVD on 19 April too. It wasn’t listed last time I looked at the DVD website. IN OTHER NEWS: Love how much FOXTEL screens Rob’s films. Smart people. If you have an instagram account and feel so inclined you can follow us now.  Well you could have followed us since about a year ago when I uploaded a pic of Robert from the Sydney Press Conference for The Rover, but then we’ve been a little lax.  It’s all systems go now.  Also if you are ever looking for information about Rob’s films you can always check out our dedicated individual film pages which are updated frequently. Well that’s all from me this week. As we heard towards our public holiday tomorrow for ANZAC day  …
“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”

A quiet week for Maria still seems rather full to me.
Re the passing of Prince – Man, he could play guitar! More power to the original voices of this world. RIP to The Purple One.
And it a completely different way – ditto – ‘We will remember them’
