You will remember that we posted about Anton Corbijn receiving the “Film & Beyond Award†in recognition of his multidisciplinary career path in (audiovisual) arts at the Geneva International Film Festival (“Tous Ecrans”) here. Today we can confirm that Anton will also introduce “Life” on 13 November 2015 at 8.30 pm.
“During this special evening, Anton Corbijn will introduce his latest film, Life, which focusses on photographer Dennis Stock’s photoshoots, and subsequent friendship, with James Dean in early 1955. The film, which will be released shortly in French-speaking Switzerland, will be screened exclusively by Ciné17 in Geneva. The Festival will also present a selection of Anton Corbijn’s video clips as well as Control, his biopic about Ian Curtis, the charismatic leader of British band Joy Division.”
