Note:Â This post is no longer updated. Â All release dates will be updated on our “LIFE” film page.
FilmNation has it listed under it’s “Coming Soon” tab and we posted here that the cinematographer alluded to a trailer “coming soon”.  I’ve speculated that it may well be released the week of the 60th anniversary of James Dean’s death which was 30 September 1955. Time will tell if makes it to Cannes or any other film festival, Life had it’s World Premiere at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival in February 2015, but as for the rest of us, according to IMDBPro or the distributors website (unless otherwise stated) here are the few release dates available. Again, these are obviously subject to change and we will keep you updated. For ease too, I will post a link for this post on our “LIFE” page under the “Films” tab.

I know you are trying to keep us getting excited without confirmations, Maria. But it isn’t working. Squeeeee.
LOL Carmel!! Thanks so !much Maria, this is amazing. Thanks a million for the updates and pulling all together like this. Love it and helloooooo September for the UK!! Talk about wishing our lives away!! 😉
At least this movie has been made – I’d have wept for a solid year if it had been cancelled. Cannot wait to see Rob in this role!
Yeah I’m excited about this too can’t deny it. Thanks Maria. It seems your guess about the anniversary of J Dean’s death was correct.
@Ephie James Dean is also kind of synonymous with Cannes … *eyestwinkle*
Fingers crossed for Cannes. How fantastic would that be?!
Now I need Australia added to those release dates
I would really, really, really like to see an Aussie date, please! *looking-to-the-gods*
Someday Rob will be synonymous with Cannes 😀 Looking forward to this!
Hope you all are well!
@Sue don’t think it will be until second half of this year from what I’ve been told. But things change as we know. I wouldn’t mind seeing it at Sydney Film Festival – putting it out there.
Thanks @Sare hope all is going well with you too 🙂
*waves to Sare* hope all is good with you 🙂
*waves8 Sare 🙂
Waiting. Waiting
We need the AUSTRALIAN release date all in bold shouty caps when it comes, please Maria.
OK @Sue will do. I’m still hoping we get an announcement in April that it’s going to be part of Sydney Film Festival. PUTTING IT OUT THERE!!
Life at the SFF. That would be amazing.
I hope, it will come too the U.S. this year 🙂
Oh Maria you are the gorgeous Easter Bunny. I was about to remove the foil from my Easter egg and chomp away as I watched “The Outlander” I popped onto to RPAU and the egg and the Outlander disappeared from my brain when I read the wonderful news about “Life.” It doesn’t matter that we have to wait until September/October knowing that we will see Robert Pattinson
in a must see amazing movie this guy never disappoints. He is a talented and very gifted actor who just happens to be and this is from all those actors and Directors who have worked along side of him, one of the nicest down to earth young actors in Hollywood.
Yippee!!! Who needs the next 6 months anyway?
I may have to move since his films are taking so long to get to the US…I can’t stand the waiting! You know in the movie My Cousin Vinny where Marisa Tomei is stomping on the porch yelling at Joe Pesci? Yeah, that’s what feel like! lol
LOL @Sanguine – I think that’s all of us 🙂
Maria, thank you for all the hard work and long hours in putting this (and all you do) together for us as it really is so appreciated! You’re a doll! (((HUGS))) I am not forgetting Michelle! Nor the other ladies…thank you!
