I got my A5 pic too with my bottle of DiorHomme Intense and bought some DiorHomme for Michelle since Tassie is not coming to the party! Anything that drives the sales up. It’s a beautiful thing and I was kind of excited to see the final product since it’s been in the pipeline for a few weeks.

So glad DiorRob has finally arrived.

I’m really upset with Amazon UK right now. They’re just informed me that my order re Cofret has been cancelled, the item is no longer available. I couldn’t hold back, I replied to their email expressing that I wouldn’t be buying anything from them anymore. I’m leaving for work now with a bit of a heavy heart.

I hear ya Silvie, the way Amazon UK handled their ‘selling’ of 1000 Lives is just a disgrace. They won’t be getting my business again that’s for sure. Good on you for sending them an email, they deserve to feel the wrath of the fans. Never once did they say it was limited to 500, left the pre-order option up until just this week, false advertising. My order is still showing as ‘not yet dispatched’ but I am expecting the cancelled email too any time

Some of the lucky few have received theirs but SO many of us will miss out – wrong, so so wrong.

Thanks Michelle, I guess if I had left it til the last minute I may have been just a fraction more understanding but as soon as I saw it advertised here I pre ordered it. The way I see it, they asked for pre orders and they should have fulfilled their service. They have lost me too. Back to work. I guess I’ll put the money towards buying more Rob Dior.

*nods* @ Carmel. Myer here use to be really great, their men’s fragrance section took up a whole portion of the department but last time I went in I couldn’t believe how TINY it now is. Will go in again this week to check again for DiorRob but I’m not too confident Shame, there are so many people here who I know are Rob fans that would love to buy it for themselves/friends & family & support the campaign. We all need to move lol.

@lise-lou if only. I actually turned up after a gym training session – I had to explain to them that’s why I look disheveled it wasn’t because of Rob lol.

As for the Nan Goldin. Don’t even go there. I’m still waiting for the email telling me they are out of stock. It’s a debacle and well sorry Amazon but I won’t be using your services in the future.

@Silvie did the email give an excuse along the lines of “sorry but the supplier didn’t provide us with the no of copies we were expecting?” Because that’s not our problem – that’s their problem and you can’t tell me they had no contract in place when they agreed to be the merchant of this book on how many copies they were selling. Not once did the page show that it was limited edition. Until we got the Men’s Style article from Dior in Sydney – we had no idea that it was only 500 copies.

Misleading advertising and a breach of promise. And now we hear that people who ordered in October have received copies. Not sure if that is 100% true, but needless to say – I’m just waiting for my email so that I can respond.

Beautiful – thanks for posting Michelle, and thanks to you Maria for getting pics. Hope Perth Myer is lit up similarly. Will be a real buzz to walk in and be surrounded with these huge posters of Rob. I’m on the train – soon. Might even end up with a 5ml J’Adore, which is my favourite. Sorry to hear about Amazon UK fiasco – I’ll wait for mine with baited breath!!

I’m really upset with them for offering something which they won’t deliver. As I said, I would probably make an effort to understand if I just ordered it, but I ordered it when it was first advertised. There’s nothing I can do, I’ll just move on and support Rob however I can. Now I wonder about the book????? Must get back to work.

Good news 1st. The Dior ladies in Myer Brisbane City are lovely and now VERY well aware of RPAU and how much DiorRob is being promoted on this site. Needless to say they were both amazed and impressed with our enthusiasm! So congrats, girls!

Now my bad news. Up until as late as midnight last night, my Amazon.co.uk account was showing a ‘not yet dispatched’ message in my account re the Goldin coffret. I just checked it 5 mins ago, and it’s now showing “No history of orders” WTF?!!!!! So I’m joining the NOT HAPPY AMAZON CLUB. Can they just delete an entire ‘history’ like that? Not even a sorry? Maybe they thought I’d have forgotten about an order placed months ago ……

I know, I cannot believe Amazon UK, deleting your order & not even an explanation or a sorry – SO WRONG. ‘The NOT HAPPY AMAZON CLUB’ is going to have many many members. As I mentioned in the other post, mine is still showing ‘not yet dispatched’ but am waiting for that to change. Such a shame so many will miss out when we all were lead to believe our order would be delivered. Amazon UK have handled it all in such an extremely poor & unprofessional way.
