Seriously the only reason I’m posting this interview is because I love the expression on Rob’s face at the  end of their interview – yep Rob that’s pretty much what I think of them too.  Oh and guess what Kylie – we don’t actually call him RPattz in Australia, but then I suppose you would have done the same research for your interview as you do for your *cougharticlescough*.  Still can’t believe they were one of the major sponsors Friday night – so hypocritical.

Agree @Vertigo – it was as classy as their publication. I know at least if we had had the opportunity to interview him on the carpet we would have asked him questions about something interesting like – how excited are you about Cosmopolis, is there any truth to the rumour you might be involved with Akira.

I certainly wouldn’t be asking him about snogs (for those that don’t know what that is – a snog is a kiss). Oh so boring and oh so over asked. I love how she thought he’d be interested in her childish sparkly microphone. Kylie you do know he’s an adult male … right – men don’t get excited about crap like that – hell I don’t even get excited about crap like that. I actually thought Rob was checking out what she had on at first – but suppose he could have been because his expression fits both my misunderstanding and her ridiculous question.

OMG, cringe is for sure Caro. Oh that was just so bad. I still cannot believe they were one of the sponsors – just cannot. It’s unbelievable. Rob’s expression at the end is GOLD – just pure gold. Yep our thoughts exactly Rob, our thoughts exactly! Poor Rob having to endure all these people. I’d go nuts!

Hahaha Maria, lost on her way to TCA’s – so so true.

I was shocked they were sponsors and even more suprised to see the magazine sitting on the seat in the theatre. What were they trying to do? Make up for all the crap they’ve written (manipulated) about Rob over the past few years……keep trying Famous, keep trying!

Ooooh I haven’t seen it yet @Maria I’m sure it will give me a disbelieving laugh as I’m waiting at the check out in the supermarket.

hahaha @Carolyn it will – I had to buy a bus ticket at the newsagent and that’s the only reason out of curiosity I wanted to see what they would run with now that they met the man.

This is what Iwant to know though – how does the ACCC allow them to sell and knowingly rip people off? It’s misleading and deceptive conduct is it not? I understand that people who waste their money on these rags probably do so knowing they are buying rubbish – but there is a small percentage of the population that believes what they write. I know because I’m forever deflecting the crap that they sprout.

Clearly this mag employs people who dream about being fiction writers, but clearly don’t have the talent.

Wasnt it Famous that did that ‘Rob is pregnant’ front cover? I rest my case.

  • Maria

@Caro I think it might have been. What gets me is that – they had an opportunity to release an entire edition about the Sydney premiere and what did we get nothing. That’s the only reason why I checked out the cover. They haven’t even put Rob as the main cover story – which is probably a good thing for once.

They make my blood boil – why is society allowing itself to be dumbed down – WHY?????

Of course RPAU followers are excluded from that statement 🙂

Hi all I pop in from time to time so I had a laugh/squee when I saw myself (in the ‘famous’ video) with a friend walking the red carpet towards Rob. We lined up early to enter the red carpet so fortunately missed most of the horrible boorish behaviour of the security towards the people who had paid to walk the red carpet and film. I also saw Dean at the State theatre as he was standing in the foyer at about 3.15 pm so that was surreal. I only had a glimpse of Robs hair and had a good look at his lovely slim back and profile on the red carpet however didnt get to see his whole face. Never mind he is a delight in his videos and I enjoyed Water elephants a great deal. Thanks Maria for your site!
