Thanks to @cookie_lover87 we can confirm that the Eclipse 2 disc special edition DVD will be available in Australia on 1 December 2010 through EzyDVD and also there’s a 3 Disc Boxed Set Special Edition – click here.  We still don’t know what will be included in the special editions, but will let you know once we know.  If you want to preorder just click  on they highlighted links – hmm just in time for a nice Christmas present – hint hint.   I’m hoping there will be a Fast Forward Edward on one of these versions.  Oh wait – owning  how many versions is too many versions?  (Updated:  um yeah well 3 disc box set consider yourself pre-ordered)

Thanks cookie_lover87 for confirming the date for us & Maria for posting. So looking forward to adding Eclipse Eddie to my collection. Yes please please have a FF Edward this time around. The person who thought of that extra is a genius. LOL Maria, we can never have too many versions that’s for sure. Three disc box set – you have just been pre-ordered 😀

That’s right Cindy & Vicky, still no confirmed date on Sanity’s site although it would be the same – December 1st. I have emailed them several times over the past couple of weeks but no reply as yet. I suspect they’ll update their site soon though. So good to get the confirmation through Ezy DVD & now know the date for sure. Ezy DVD are brilliant to deal with too. Always super fast postage & excellent service.

I guess the catchphrase *snooze and you lose” is appropriate for Sanity in this case.

No probs and thanx for mentioning me!.. so far they have the following available for preorder: standard 1 disc edition, bluray, 2disc and a 3disc edition available (I’m going to tweet a screenshot of the list from my phone in a sec for anyone whos interested lol).. I’m keeping my eye out for the sanity, target, etc release dates..

I’ve dealt with this company before, and they are very reliable and superfast in postage.. Most times they are cheaper then local stores.. They post overseas too in case anyone was wondering 🙂

Twilight and New Moon were both realized on DVD 120 days after the theatrical realease..I’ve read it’s October 23th

Were did you read 23 Oct @Libby? I’ve only seen Australian release dates as 1 December – it might change, but i’ve not seen 23 October mentioned anywhere for Australia. I would say that Summit will stretch it out for a Christmas high seeing as we won’t be seeing Breaking Dawn for almost a year later.

    Whats Fast Forward Edward?

Caro – the UK showed genius when they released NM with a special feature where you press play and it fast forwards to all the Edward parts. It is made for the Rob lovers who prefer not to have to sit through the yawny bits. It has become my favourite and only way to watch … and so now we wait to see if they’ll do the same with Eclipse.
