Unless of course you keep this bookmark of me in your copy of Wuthering Heights that you continually reread – lol.  Sorry – had a Twi moment there.  Speaking of which, imagine Eddie keeping place in your own copy of New Moon.  Hmmm might have to order 2 of these – one for the breakup, one for the clocktower because I don’t need to read anything else – oops I said that out loud right.  Anyway if you are interested in owning one (or maybe 5) you can click here to preorder (bookmarks will not be available until 15 August 2009).

Well we’ve used the word “beautiful” so often to describe Rob that I’m scared I’m going to wear it out.  So I’ve decided to call this one “dazzling” – after all it’s another word for beautiful (check out the thesaurus in case you think I’ve stolen it from Twilight).  As you all know I’m very partial to profile shots, especially if Rob’s wearing the Clubmasters, Wayfarers, Varvatos … yep I’ve definitely been dazzled.

Does this photo of Rob, from yesterday’s set, remind anyone else of the biology lab scene from Twilight where Edward first sees Bella?  Hey I’m not trying to compare Tyler to Eddie, but I just couldn’t help getting that flashback – it’s that look – I just can’t help it, but maybe it’s just me.

OK, so it’s my turn once again to share one of my fave videos with you all. This time I have chosen the interview Rob did with TV3 Xposé Ireland last year during his Twilight promotion. I really cannot put into words just how much I love this little interview. Rob I think, is exceptionally adorable in this one. Lots of smiles, laughter & as always, great answers from Rob. I am sure you will all love it just as much as I do. Really, how could you not.

Well I can’t.  By this I’m referrring to making Rob appear at this year’s ComiCon.  Someone seriously didn’t pay attention to what happened at last year’s event.  Are they insane to want to put him through this again – have the last 2 months in New York not been bad enough?  Clearly ComiCon has a huge security budget to ensure that noone can get near him (*cough* *cough*).  Sorry I’m a little passionate about the fact that they pimp him out for these events.  Quite frankly I haven’t posted any other ComiCon news because personally, until I actually see him there, I won’t believe it (I remember they said the same thing about Rob attending the Nickelodeon Awards and suggested his appearance at the Hot Topic midnight release of Twlight DVD – both didn’t happen).   Anway what has got me going is Variety.com’s article by Thompson on Hollywood (click on link if you want to read full article):

“Thursday’s crazy madness will be the Twilight: New Moon panel. Heartthrob Rob Pattinson will appear (reminder: must pack earplugs) with co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner and director Chris Weitz, but lovelorn vampire Edward Cullen isn’t the main character in the movie, so Pattinson won’t participate in any backstage interviews. Summit is screening Twilight for the fans with cast members on hand. Summit is scheduled to film the third installment of the Twilight Saga, Eclipse, from August 17 through October 31 in Vancouver with David Slade (30 Days of Night) directing Melissa Rosenberg’s screenplay.”

I think the backstage interviews are the least of his worries.  And what do you mean “Edward Cullen isn’t the main character in New Moon”?  I’m in shock.  I was really under the misapprehension that all Twilight books are written with Edward Cullen as the main character – I better go back and reread them.  Sorry the sarcasm kicks in because these people actually try to pass themselves off as journos.  Okay so here is my argument – if Rob isn’t one of the main characters in New Moon and doesn’t need to do any “backstage interviews” – then he can be easily replaced by one of the other secondary characters like Ashley, Klutz or hey – even Billy Burke – he’s going  – so Rob doesn’t need to go – right.  Problem solved.  Just looking out for you Rob because I remember the backstage photo from last year and you DON”T need to go through that again.
