Sweden looks like February is your lucky month, not only do you get LIFE on DVD, but it looks like The Childhood of a Leader is premiering at KINOÂ too. It’s listed under “coming soon” with a premiere date of 26 February 2016. Â I’m not jealous really I’m not. Hopefully this is the start of the film being unleashed worldwide. Â The film isn’t listed in the calendar as yet, but I will update ticket links when available. Â At the moment, you can find out about ticket sales here.

WOW I was not expecting to see this, talk about the best surprise – our first footage of Rob as Charles! Rob is at the beginning & for those who don’t mind spoilers, you can watch at the source by clicking on the cap below.
Thanks to @sallyvg for the link.

I’m so happy that this interview hasn’t been dubbed. Â I love hearing Rob talk just about anything and he talks about lots of things in this, some we’ve heard or read before, but it’s great to have a long 12 min interview where we can just sit back, watch and listen.

Great to wake up to this news. Â Brady sure is garnering some recognition for his first foray into directing. Â I have a feeling if this isn’t included at Sydney Film Festival 2016 I might have to travel to Melbourne! Â Fingers crossed.

LEFFEST
Â
With the movie being released at several film festivals, I thought I would roundup the reviews so far.  The review extracts will focus on Rob’s performance, but if he isn’t mentioned, then I will post extracts on the movie as a whole. You can check out the initial reviews we posted from Venice here, I won’t repeat them in this post, but I will add any from Venice that I didn’t include. Please note that some reviews may contain spoilers.  This post will be updated as the movie is released around the world.
THE COOL
Cinedivergente (Spain) *SEFF15
“…Â on the one hand, it gives the genre a dignity and firmness that few dare to give (Rob Zombie and maybe a little more) and another ripping hard historical film conventions and reconstructions of past key fiction. And today we need someone from time to time we may sift and stands up a bit. To me he has moved me the whole tree.”
Accreds (France)
“Two things are very clear by cons: Bérénice Bejo must stop playing English maternal roles as the Phantom of The Search will not be exorcised, and Robert Pattinson must work in France; there is even better than elsewhere.”
Cine Europa (EU) *Venice
“… a German played by Robert Pattinson with the questionable brilliance he’s known for (to pass his accent off as European …”
