Miami Beach Cinematheque (Home of the Miami Beach Film Society) will be screening Robert Pattinson “The Childhood of a Leader” from 12 to 24 August 2016 (excluding Mondays & Tuesdays).  You can check out their schedule here.  I will add this to the US screenings post for the sake of completeness.

I started putting this post together earlier this month when I came across and tweeted Max Cinemas listing Robert Pattinson “The Childhood of a Leader” under “coming soon”.  I then came across Warwick Theatres and we know that IFC Cinemas will be screening the film (check out our earlier post about the 20 July sneak peek and Q&A with Brady Corbet).  I’ve found a few more listings and so here’s a running list (much like I have done for previous films) of US cinemas that will screen the film. I’ve also added a few VOD links.  The release will be”limited” and I suspect most in the US will have to watch it on VOD which will be released same day as theatrical.  I’ll try to keep on top of it, but if you happen to come across a screening, let me know so I can add to the list. NOTE: I will add a * next to new listings

You might recall we posted earlier this week that the IFC Center was holding an advanced screening of Robert Pattinson “The Childhood of a Leader” on 21 July 2016.  It now looks like they’ve brought that forward since they are screening a sneak preview with a Q&A with Brady Corbet on 20 July 2016 at 7.00 pm.  Tickets for 20 July 2016 can be purchased here.  Remember all other screening times|tickets will become available from 18 July 2016.

 

I came across a listing for Robert Pattinson “The Childhood of a Leader” at Art House – Crouch End Cinema, London from 22 July 2016.  I contacted them and they have confirmed to RPAU that the film will indeed screen from Friday 22 July 2016 and that tickets will go on sale 18 July 2016. Keep a watch out for them here.
