Thanks to Network Releasing (I’m assuming that they’re the UK distributor for HOW TO BE), here’s another clip from the movie. It’s the scene where Art’s girlfriend, Jessica, broke up with him. I cracked up when Rob said, “No, YOU’RE not ready for this kind of commitment.” LOL.
Oliver talks to People.com about Rob in HOW TO BE. Here is an excerpt from the article:
Among the challenges for Pattinson in How To Be, which filmed prior to Twilight, were playing the guitar, harmonica, and, for the director, muting his good looks.
“I said, ‘You’re banned from cutting your hair between now and the shoot,'” says Irving. “We had to give him the most awkward haircut we possibly could, and we cut his trouser length a little bit too high. Things like that played down his apparent good looks.” Honing his musical skills, however, came naturally to the actor. “He downplayed how good he was,” says Irving. While playing the guitar and harmonica, Irving says, “A lot of the time he would turn out to have a really good technique and we told him he needed to play it more simply.”
TEEN VOGUE also has an exclusive on five new HOW TO BE pictures. WOW, these pictures and clips makes me want to see the movie again (surprisingly). I can’t wait to watch the ‘Behind-the-scenes’ clips from the DVD.
To celebrate HOW TO BE’s premiere at the on-demand on IFC Festival Direct this Wednesday, TEEN VOGUE is giving away away an autographed How to Be poster, plus an actual t-shirt and pair of sneakers worn by Robert in the film. Unfortunately, this contest is NOT FOR ANYONE OUTSIDE USA and CANADA.
For those unable to enter the competition, TEEN VOGUE still has a treat for us. Here are some never-before-seen clips from the film:
The first one is the ‘MIRROR’ scene (your favourite, Michelle), and also one of mine.
The second one is the scene where Art performed at the Day Care centre. The first time I saw this scene, I laughed really hard. There’s just something about the way he looks in this scene.
Network Releasing who are the UK DVD distributor for ‘How To Be’, have released this High Definition trailer (the quality is so nice & clear) for the film’s DVD release on May 18. I know we have seen a trailer similar to this before but seeing how excited I am about the DVD being released (as I am sure you all are too) & how much I love Art, I just had to share this with everyone.
Thanks to our affiliate ROBsessed for the link to the video.
Thanks to MTV.com, here’s a clip of Art, who just bought his new (old) car and drove it for the first time. It’s really funny and touching at the same time. I’m not sure how accessible this video is, apparently some people can’t watch it. We will post the YouTube version once it comes out.
