Here are a few more photos of Rob from How To Be – some we’ve seen and a couple we haven’t (pics 2 and 3 for sure for me), but anyway, you can never have too much Art (right Michelle) and I doubt I will hear any complaints.  Thanks to ROBsessed for these great “untagged” pics.

Thanks to ET Online here is a great behind the scenes clip from ’How To Be’

In this clip we see some funny moments from the filming of the movie, hear Rob’s thoughts on the movie & his character Art & also hear Johnny White & Rebecca Pidgeon talk about working with Rob. I enjoyed this clip so much & I am sure you all will too. I really adore this movie & am looking forward so much to watching it again in May when my DVD arrives.

Anne Thomspon from VARIETY (who did that lovely interview with Rob in November last year) talks about Rob in HOW TO BE. Here’s an excerpt on what she wrote:

While Brit first-timer Oliver Irving’s micro-indie How to Be may not be high art, because it stars Twilight star Rob Pattinson, it has a target audience. The flick about a sadsack guitar player who moves back in with his parents after his girlfriend dumps him had been seeking a distrib since its Slamdance debut in January, 2008. I asked Pattinson about How to Be in a Twilight interview back in November (Flip Cam video below), which was seen by IFC Films buyer Arianna Boccho, who tracked down How to Be and bought it one week later for IFC Festival Direct.

Here is the 15 mns interview she did with Rob, back in November last year:

In keeping with the How To Be posts today by Cilla and Michelle, I thought I would provide you with yet another review of the film.  This time it’s by Amanda Bell from The Examiner and it is one of the better ones I have read so far (or maybe it’s because I agree with everything she says).  For those of you who are yet to see the film, this will be a further tease before your DVD arrives in late May and if you are interested in reading it you can click here, but I warn you it does contain “Spoilers”.

And speaking of “Spoilers” as some of you may have already seen or heard there has been a leak of the film on the internet because of yesterday’s IFC on Demand release in the US.  Please don’t send us emails asking us to post this link.  Cilla has been a staunch supporter of How To Be (and as most of us know, she spent a considerable amount of time and energy, together with Shanna, to bring it to Australian screens).  Oliver Irving and Justin Kelly have struggled to find distributors and the film is only now achieving the recognition it deserves.   Posting a link or downloading it means that any profit they deserve to make from the sale of DVDs will greatly diminish.  If you desperately want to see “How To Be”, the DVD is being released in the UK on 18 May and can be pre-ordered from Amazon.

Most of us claim we want to see Rob do more indie films in the future.  If you are really serious about that then here’s your chance to support them.  Please consider this before downloading.

This great little video has been released via Itunes for one of my favourite songs featured on the ‘How To Be’ soundtrack ‘Chokin’ On The Dust’ Not only does this video feature a snippet from the movie where Art sings at the Day Care Centre, but it also features other clips from the film & also from behind the scenes.

I was so very excited to see that the video is also available for us to buy via our Itunes in Australia. Needless to say I have purchased (of course lol) If you would also like to purchase this video & have Itunes, all you need to do is search ‘How To Be’ in the search panel & it will lead you to the video. The ‘How To Be ‘ soundtrack is available to buy there also.

Watching this video makes me want to see the film again (even more than I already did) The DVD release in May cannot come quick enough for me.

Thank you so much to our affiliate ROBsessed for the link to the video.

I think today is looking like it might be ‘Little Ashes & How To Be Thursday’ That would have to be the best kind of Thursday ever!
