Claire Denis talked Rob and The Stars at Noon during Qumra. This from the Doha Film Institute:
On her upcoming film, The Stars at Noon, featuring Robert Pattinson and Margaret Qualley, Denis said she “hopes to do it in the fall because by then the vaccination will have been [done] and we will be able to shoot.â€
On Robert, she said, “He is someone I met surprisingly because he wanted to meet me, and I was shy and surprised but then I realised I was meant to work with him. It was like someone I knew already, he was so open, so generous, so mysterious too.â€

IMDbPro Adds Casting Director to Robert Pattinson “The Stars at Noon”
Maybe with the wrap of The Batman, Claire Denis really will start filming The Stars at Noon with Rob some time next month. IMDbPro has added a casting director to the film. We will update as soon as more information becomes available.
Updated: Looks like it won’t be April, but then who knows with this industry. From Screen Daily today:
For now, Denis is editing her love triangle drama Fire, co-starring two of her long-time collaborators Vincent Lindon and Juliette Binoche, and hopes to start shooting her long-gestating Nicaragua-set romantic drama The Stars At Noon, starring Robert Pattinson and Margaret Qualley, this autumn.
The Stars at Noon Included in EFM 2021 Catalogue
Wild Bunch International has included The Stars at Noon in their EFM 2021 Sales Catalogue. You will see that it says shooting commences April 2021. I’m hopeful that is correct, otherwise why would they include it in their sales pitch! It also confirms Rob’s character name “Daniel” and that Ad Vitam will be the French distributor. Excites!!
Claire Denis talks Robert Pattinson & The Stars at Noon with LeMonde (France)
UPDATED: 4 February 2021
Some fans were concerned that The Stars at Noon disappeared from Rob’s IMDb page, but it is still included on IMDbPro but under “Projects in Development”
Deadlline also reported on 3 February 2021:
Production has wrapped on Fire (Feu), the latest movie from French filmmaking royalty Claire Denis. Pic stars heavyweight actors Juliette Binoche and Vincent Lindon, appearing opposite each other for the first time, in a love triangle story about a woman caught between two men – her long-time partner and his best friend, her former lover.
This is the project that was previously reported as being called Radioscopie and was moved swiftly into production when Denis’ The Stars At Noon, set to star Robert Pattinson and Margaret Qualley, was delayed – that movie is now expect to shoot as soon as April.
There’s contradiction on when the film will go into production, Claire Denis in her Le Monde interview below stated end of year (or whenever Rob is ready post Batman), but Deadline and other media have stated April 2021. Whatever it is, Olivier Delbosc, who has collaborated with Claire on the last two movies she has done with Juliette Binoche (not High Life), is now attached as producer to the film through his Curiosa Films.

Nothing is listed on Claire’s IMDbPro page, but I will keep you updated when that changes. Hopefully it gives us some information of when this new feature will be filmed.
