See Robert Pattinson in Damsel at AMC Theatres

 

A google search turns up that Damsel will open at AMC Theatres (US) on 22 June 2018.  Nothing is listed at Magnolia Pics as yet, and no doubt the Zellners will release a trailer and poster confirming the actual release date, but for those in the US, I thought you might want to hit the “remind me” to be notified when tickets actually go on sale.

We have already posted this interview from another angle by Film Sterren, but I like that this snippet is just Rob, then Mia, then Rob again.  The interview is the one where Rob talks about how great it is that film festivals like Berlinale screen small indie films and how he likes to play pathetic and despicable characters.  Enjoy from this angle.

Magnolia Pictures to Distribute Robert Pattinson #Damsel in US

 

According to Variety:

Magnolia Pictures and Great Point Media will partner on the U.S. release of David and Nathan Zellner’s “Damsel,” starring Robert Pattinson and Mia Wasikowska.

…

“We’ve been incredibly fortunate working with Great Point Media in making ‘Damsel’ and are thrilled to be partnering with Magnolia for the release; their enthusiasm means so much to us,” the Zellners said. “Robert and Mia are amazing in the film and doing things we’ve not seen them do before. It’s meant to be seen big and loud, and we’re excited that it will have a proper life on the silver screen before being (lovingly) watched on iPhones while multitasking.”

And according to Deadline:

 A summer theatrical release is being eyed.

This is great news for US fans and everyone involved.
