If you haven’t had a chance to see Rob as Salvador Dali, well the wait is almost over.  JB Hi-Fi is taking pre-orders for the May release of the DVD here in Australia.  In all honesty seeing Rob as Dali gave us a glimpse of what to expect in the future – for me it hinted at the potential that I think we have definitely seen as Tyler Hawkins and I can only imagine what we will see with Georges and Jacob.  Rob puts so  much effort into his roles that it’s impossible not to appreciate the performance.  If you have had the opportunity to see Rob as Tyler Hawkins this weekend, but you haven’t seen him in this role, then do yourselves an enormous favour and preorder your copy here.  As with Remember Me, the supporting cast in Little Ashes are extraordinary.  I could wax lyrical about Rob, but hey I’m preaching to the converted and honestly I just ordered myself another copy.

The Ritz Cinema, Randwick  has always been very supportive of Rob’s movies and so I’m happy to say that they have not only posted the screening times for Remember Me, but also have advance purchase for tix.  I know I’m seeing it on Wednesday night but I can definitely tell you where I will be come 12.45 pm or 3.40 pm on Saturday (hmm or maybe from 12.45 pm until 6.20 pm – who knows).  Oh God I suppose it’s lucky they know my dedication to Rob and so it won’t be as embarassing when I’m continually turning up to sessions.  Please show the Ritz and Rob some love by coming to see the film – Thurs 11 Mar to 17 Mar 2010 – Daily 12.45 pm, 3.40 pm, 6.30 pm and 9.15 pm.  It’s only 2 more sleeps for me – if I can sleep that is. Oh and if you want details on buying tix pls click on highlighted link above.

Oh that’s very cheeky of you Rob springing this on us at the last minute.  Hey I’m not complaining I love your surprises and to be honest I thought it was weird that Rob was in London and not appearing.  BAFTAOnline  has tweeted the following:

bafta

The BAFTA Awards are live this Sunday 21 February in the UK.  For Aussies I know last night I saw it advertised on FOXTEL as being screened on Monday night, but I can’t find it on their TV Guide at the moment.  What I can find though is that E! will be showing “Live from the Red Carpet” and if you want to check times click here. I’ve been told that the BAFTAs are screening in Sydney on Monday 22 Feb on FOXTEL’s Bio channel (117) at 11am and 8.30pm.  Thanks Morena!

For our UK followers you can watch on BBC1 at 9pm. I understand that E! in the UK is also showing the Red Carpet starting at 5pm and BBC3 are showing the Red Carpet from 7:30pm.
BBC America is apparently showing it in the US at 8pm EST/ 7.30pm PST.

And if you can’t watch at any of those – we will probably post a live stream if it’s up and working.  9pm London time Sunday will be 8am Monday morning for us!

Thanks to our friend the lovely Kate at our elite affie ROBsessed for UK/US information and tip.  Ooh Rob in a suit -… what a treat!  Plus Guy Pearce for us Aussies.

Well you certainly made it a difficult choice for us and thanks everyone for entering and also to Hoyts Distribution for offering these fantastic tickets to RPAU – we really appreciate it.  Brace yourselves:

Kez – “I’d take my partner, as it would be great to have a emotional reminder of what’s really important in life.”  We loved this response and agree Kez – we really do need to be reminded of what is really important in life – and that is the people we love.

Deb – “I would take my 29 year old boyfriend because he has a man crush on RPatz, and given half the chance I am sure he would like to start a bromance with him. lol but seriously he sits down for Twilight when ever I put it on.”  Yes well if that bromance ever transpires Deb you both better remember us.

Apotamkin – “I would take my mum because she is completely anti-Twilight and does not understand why I like Mr Pattinson. This would be the perfect way to show her exactly why and get her past the whole Twilight thing. Of course I could never get her to the cinema if she had to pay for a ticket!    How could we go past the education of Apotamkin’s mother, plus your name always brings a smile to my face.

Jo – “I would take my friend Renee..as a thank you for introducing me to the world of Rob…I owe her big time xo“  Oh Renee so good to see you are out there recruiting and yes Jo you do owe her big time – ignorance is bliss but not when it comes to Rob.

Sare – “My twin sister because she’s the only one that willingly puts up with my rob-whipped arse!”  LOL Sare – yes well rob-whipped is definitely something that we can relate to.

Congratulations to the 5 above.  Please send your contact details, including postal address, to us at robertpattisonau@hotmail.com.  We need to forward them on to Hoyts Distribution who will send out the tickets to you.  Enjoy the movie everyone.  Not too many sleeps now!

Oh yes people, you better mark 5 May 2010 in your diaries because this is the date that Little Ashes will become available on DVD in Oz.  That’s right – the lovely Tamara from Kojo Pictures confirmed it with us this afternoon.  I’ll provide more details of where it can be purchased from soon, but thought I’d share this great news with you all now.  Oh how I love this scene below.
