UPDATES AT BOTTOM OF POST
Some people have been fortunate enough to attend a test screening for Rob’s The Batman – 3 hours long – yes please. Although screeners tend to be longer than what is eventually released. We can handle 3 hours of Rob as Batman though – just saying. Here’s reactions from social media:
And for some great responses about Rob and the film – @bluerayangel gives us a thread
Can’t wait to see this in just over 6 months.
30 AUGUST 2021 UPDATES
Maybe now we know why Colin Farrell said there are 3 Robs – Batman, Bruce Wayne and narrator.
Firstly, why-oh-why don’t they ask ME to attend a screening of The Batman? I’d LOVE to give them some honest feedback. I’d even watch it several times, in the spirit of thoroughness. Geez some people are lucky! As for the “whole collection of rob pat batman movies” comment – it works for me!
Wow – finally Batman news – thanks so much for sharing !
OMG – Rob narrating? Bruce Wayne, Batman & narrator? Sign me up! Of course, the Catholic in me feels like a holy trinity like that needs to be followed by ‘AMEN’ LOL
“Bruce Wayne, Batman & narrator”
I speculate but are these the three personalities that the actor who plays Gordon said Rob assumes in the movie, (“there is Rob,…”)? I wonder if the narrative voice is from that of an outside observer. Rob narrated in High Life (I forget if that was as Monte or as a know-all outsider looking in). I loved his narrator voice in High Life. He is a singer with a high functioning ear/brain which is why he can do so many accents (for learning new languages or accents you need to hear the sounds required of them and most of us can’t easily learn new languages because we don’t even hear the sounds made as our brains are not attuned to catch them). He knows how to use his voice as an instrument. He is in a league of his own and has been for a long time.
