It’s been an exciting and busy year since Rob’s last birthday. A good percentage of the past year was spent promoting “Good Time”. The movie received rave reviews and countless critics had nothing but praise for Rob’s performance as Connie Nikas. Rob received special recognition at France’s Deauville Film Festival and was presented with the Maverick award at the Savannah Film Festival in Georgia. Additionally, he received several Best Actor nominations from the Independent Film Industry, including the Gotham Awards and the Spirit Awards. In the midst of “Good Time” special screenings and appearances, Rob arrived in Cologne to begin filming “High Life”. As “Good Time” promo wound down, he made his first appearance at the Sundance Film Festival in January for a debut screening of “Damsel” and made his 4th appearance at Berlinale for the world premiere of “Damsel”. We were also treated to a nostalgic Harry Potter reunion as Rob and Emma Watson presented together at the Golden Globes. In April, he arrived in Novia Scotia for the filming of “The Lighthouse”, which is due to wrap this month. Rob also took part in the Hollywood Reporter’s Inaugural Actors Roundtable, Variety’s “Actors on Actors” series, and the AFI Indie Roundtable.

In between press junkets, filming and special appearances, Rob also managed to fit in a few new photoshoots including Esquire UK, GQ, GQ France, and Dior, as well as a fabulous video interview with W magazine.

And let’s not forget the short film Rob wrote for GQ, Fame and Fear, which documents his quest to find a hot dog in New York City.

It has been quite an eventful year for Rob, and a delightful one for the fans, and we hope for more of the same, including recognition and nominations, in the coming year.

Happy Birthday, Rob! Wishing you much success and happiness from all of us at Robert Pattinson Australia. Sign smiley 72

Thanks Suze and Maria and everyone involved for all you do, I so much enjoy coming here every day to read about Rob.

One thing: As I’m from Germany and I’m always happy when Rob’s films are shown at the Berlinale, I have to correct your statement above: This year has been Rob’s 4th time at the Berlinale. (With 5 films: Bel Ami, Life, Queen Of The Desert, The Lost City Of Z and Damsel.
