Weekly update on all career news for Robert Pattinson

 image host

I wondered how long it would be until Juliette Binoche posted a photo of Robert on her instagram. We didn’t have to wait long at all. GOOD TIME:  We’re still getting some interviews both in print and video from the US press junket – CBSSunday, EW and finally ColliderFrosty.  Robert talked the Safdies Bros with The BostonGlobe and told BillyGoodykoontz that he had “no regrets whatsoever”.  Whilst the Safdie Bros couldn’t stop talking Robert – first with Ain’t it Cool, then with The Young Folk where they agreed “Pattinson has proven to be an incredibly versatile actor” and with Vanyaland on how much Robert was involved with the formation of Connie’s character and what preparation methods were used.  Not only did Good Time get a wider release in the US (which I mention below), but Portugal finally lock down a date (thanks @justoneofus1 for the head up) as did Austria and the UK found itself with two distributors and a November release date. No doubt it’s November so ensure Robert can probably attend a premiere in his hometown. As for film festivals – Goiai (Italy) is having a screening this weekend and Jameson Cinefest in Hungary has included in theh film competition. They also confirmed that it will be the only time to see the film on the big screen before it premiers on Netflix. Deauville confirmed that there will be a photocall and press conference with Robert for Good Time on 2 September 2017. Another week and some more great shots of Robert as Connie shared by the Safdie Bros|Elara. Posh shared 3 new UHQ photos from the LA photoshoot. Robert did his first Reddit Q&A – personally I’m not a fan of Reddit but it was good to see Robert on social media for a a short time – I did laugh at his response to considering joining – he’s a smart man. Dominic Gouin shared his photo of Robert from Fantasia too. HIGH LIFE:  Is well and truly under way with Juliette Binoche posting photos from the ESA European Astronaut Training Centre in Cologne. Actors lead charmed lives sometimes. Juliette also shared a pic of Claire Denis with Mia Goth and we didn’t have to wait very long for her to share a pic of Robert. THE LOST CITY OF Z:  With the Australian release a few reviews have come out so I naturally updated the International Roundup. It seems that the the film has slipped under the radar – cannot believe how few cinemas are screening it. Just doesn’t make sense why they waited so long and pretty much missed the promo boat for this film. DIOR: I updated the Dior #DiorLoveChain post with a new slightly longer video of Robert and we even have a new photo. IN OTHER NEWS:  Deauville Festival of American Cinema is honouring Robert and screening 5 of his films as a tribute – Good Time, The Lost City of Z, Twilight, Cosmopolis and Life. The Souvenir Part 1, although Robert isn’t involved as far as we know, is listed as “filming” since 20 August 2017 on IMDbPro. Aussies or should I say Melburnians – ACMI is screening Good Time from 6 to 27 October – few days earlier than the official release which is 12 October 2017. COMING UP NEXT WEEK:   The Lost City of Z will be released on DVD in Belgium and in cinemas in New Zealand.  Poland can see The Childhood of a Leader as part of Kino Pod Baranami. Good Time has a wider release in the US with 700+ cinemas and if you’re in Italy, you can check out a screening today (Sunday) at Gioia Film Festival and at Santiago Film Festival in Chile.  In case you’re wondering if your country has a release date yet – check out our Good Time film page HERE.  Until next week …

Thank you @Juliette for keeping us updated! But seriously, I’m bummed about Lost City of Z. Can’t find it anywhere here in Brissie yet *cranky face*. Fingers crossed that changes soon. Looks like the Rob fans in Deauville hit the jackpot ~ 5 films???? How lucky are they? I know where I’d like to be ……

That’s pretty amazing about the Deauville Festival.
And very poor form from Z distruters. I can’t understand it considering the reception it has world wide. Hopefully I get to see it this coming weekend
