Weekly roundup of all career news for Robert Pattinson
I don’t even know where to begin for week 2 of PromoRobert – even I had trouble keeping up, but there was so much goodness. So so much. GOOD TIME:  Robert started off our week (although it was still Sunday in LA) presenting Good Time at The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences – he’s really playing with the big kids now. Robert then appeared at Q&As – MetrographNYC, the Alamo Drafthouse NY and of course TimesTalk and the last two Q&As at AMC Loews Lincoln Square and Regal at Union Square. Add to that TV appearances on The Charlie Rose Show, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Good Morning America and BuildSeriesNYC because he obviously loves being busy.  In the middle of all this was the New York premiere with more interviews on the red carpet.  We had two new print interviews – The Culture Pages which was a great read; then GQ which for me was not really a great read – her writing style was annoying and she really didn’t get any information out of Robert – not surprised he wasn’t as open as he has been with some others during this promo. However, I guess GQ redeemed itself with the photoshoot and Robert’s directorial debut for his autobiographical “Fear and Shame”.  Hope some people take on board what Rob’s been clearly saying for some time about what it’s like to be hounded. Posh spoilt all of us with so much goodness – not just from the premieres and appearances, but also the photoshoots.  I do love PromoRobert but I’m in need of a long overdue holiday. Speaking of spoilt – how about all those Connie Nikas BTS pics that were shared and the footage. In other Good Time news, Norway Film Festival finally released dates and Santiago Film Festival will also screen the film. DAMSEL: The Zellner Bros clearly also want to be Robert’s costars. HIGH LIFE:  We already knew Juliette replaced Patricia, but I’m just being thorough. Also, there was a tiny High Life mention in the GQ interview – Robert should be on set at the beginning of September. IN OTHER NEWS: I loved loved loved The SAG-AFTRA “Conversation with Robert” – and I’m little ‘starstruck’ that when I tweeted about how great Jenelle Riley’s intro to Robert was – I wasn’t expecting her to respond. I also loved The Nerdist Podcast.  Both those interviews are now amongst my favourites. I’ve also updated the movie review post – general consensus is that the film is a hit. COMING UP NEXT WEEK:  You can still catch The Lost City of Z at New Zealand Film Festival and Melbourne Film Festiavl.  Germany will have it’s DVD release.  Good Time is officially out in LA & New York (a wider US release will be happening from 25 August). You can also catch it at the New Zealand and Norwegian film festivals.  Looking forward to a quieter week. In case the links below are too confusing or I’ve missed mentioning something important, you can check out the chronological masterpost for Good Time North American Promo Tour here. See you next Sunday after what will hopefully be a quieter week.

PRINT: Robert Pattinson Talks to Rotten Tomatoes about his 5 Favourite Films
The Nerdest Poddy and the Good Time BTS stuff have been standouts for me so far.
This week was epic. I enjoyed all I took in and have sooo much homework.
Oh Maria… go lay down for a while. Poor, wonderful Maria. I really have no idea how you do all this. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. But , seriously. Go lay down.
That’s it. I give up. Admit defeat. I’ll never fucking catch up after last week ……. (LOL not that I’m REALLY complaining about that, of course). And I’ll never be able to pick favourites, because I’m afraid they all jumble together as I enjoy my own little Robfest in my head).
I have a theory that, in fact, “Maria” is 4 different people. We know one of them. The other 3 sit at their computers all day collating all this stuff, just to make “Maria” look good. There’s no other explanation.
LOL at the theory – Suze needs to take a lot of the credit as well
Oh gosh, of course a huge thanks to Suze too. (a case of slightly exaggerating a story to entertain, hoping I didn’t upset anyone *slap my own wrist*)
LOL not at all Sue!
@Suze – My apologies for not ackowledging your brilliant contribitions. No women is an island, even Maria. Big hugs for being there and spreading the love.
