Robert Pattinson in Sydney for Water for Elephants on 6 May 2011
I’m not really sure where the last 6 years have gone (other than me sitting at my laptop sharing more Robert events) but it amazes me that exactly 6 years ago today was the first time we glimpsed Robert in the flesh at the Sydney premiere for Water For Elephants.  We were so grateful to be invited to the red carpet, you don’t forget an invite that says “Robert Pattinson and Christoph Walz invites” although unfortunately Christoph pulled out last minute, we still got to walk the red carpet, I got interviewed by James Tobin and well – there was Robert.  That first moment when Robert’s leg emerged from his car will stay with me forever.

Firstly, how deadly is Rob’s concentration stare in that first shot? If the other images weren’t also amazing I don’t think I would have made it all the way down here to the comment box.
Next. Six years! Ive relived this day countless times. It was the day, for me, RPAU became much more than the sum of each of it’s wonderful parts and became a beautiful community. Besides, literally dreams came true. Rob! In the flesh. Right there! OMG!
