Weekly update on all career news for Robert Pattinson

 

What a week!  So much anticipation that we would hear about one of Robert’s films at Cannes and we were so not disappointed. THE LOST CITY OF Z:  Stayed up to watch Robert on Good Morning America and lucky I didn’t blink. Was still great to see him doing promo though and even in that short space of time he still managed to make me laugh. Lots of print articles coming out too. I’ve updated the Movie Reviews since some wonderful things are still being said about Robert’s performance. Entertainment Weekly shared some great new behind the scenes photos and iTunes included some scenes and some comments from Robert in their exclusive featurette. Posh spoilt us with some additional HQ beauties from the LA premiere and BTS stills. Brazil has pushed back their release, as has Argentina & Chile, but Kuwait has added it to their coming soon this month. Robert was interviewed by @YahooMovies – a few interesting comments there. QUEEN OF THE DESERT:  With the release of the film in the US I updated the reviews. Some good things said about Robert’s performance (and some not so nice). GOOD TIME:  It’s in official competition! Like we all didn’t know that. Great to see it didn’t take the Safdie Bros long to give us a first look at Robert as Connie Nikas. France obviously has a distributor and I managed to find the full still in UHQ on their website. IN OTHER NEWS: 12 Months of Rob May Choices – Cannes Robert because we can never get enough Cannes Rob (see Good Time posts). We celebrated an RPAU birthday – hope you had a wonderful time Jules – thanks for all that you do on the site for us. Also I came across an interesting article about how Robert’s shaped one of the most interesting careers in Hollywood. COMING UP NEXT WEEK: The Lost City of Z will be released in Lebanon, Singapore.
