MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone who celebrates. How spoilt have we been this week – the answer is VERY.  THE LOST CITY OF Z:  Just like a game of chess – dates advance forward and sometimes retreat for  Brazil, Germany & Switzerland. Slovakia has added a date.  Hungary also is on board for the distribution of the film.  And a little interesting tidbit thanks to Posh – The Budapest Film Orchestra recorded music for the film this year. The Independent wrote a great article on filmmakers and their focus on explorers who never return.  It was a very interesting read. We got our first official stills – albeit one with a huge Entertainment Weekly tag, but it’s still official *punintended*.  Thanks to Posh for the HQ.  And after I tweeted to Bleecker Street that it would be great to have a trailer before Christmas #nopressure, I got a tweet from Posh 12 hours later giving us the teaser trailer. No pressure indeed. Also, there is now an official website, Twitter and Facebook – make sure you’re following.  Although I’ll also make sure you are all kept in the loop. THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER:  Keeps making end of year lists so I thought I’d put together a media roundup. Gorgeous shot of Robert in that new still – thankfully it was used in that great interview. Fabulous read.  PHOTOSHOOTS: Norman Jean Roy you have been holding out on us. Can’t wait to see more from this new photoshoot.  12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS: Hope you are enjoying the daily treats. And we can’t thank Jules enough for putting together our 12 Months of Robert calendar for those who love to print and save.  IN OTHER NEWS:   How beautiful are those Austin Hargrave outtakes.  Sometimes it pays to follow photographers on social media. But I should have been following Norman Jean Roy – mistake rectified. Posh tweeted a small mention of High Life in Cinemania Enero 2017. Indiewire did a great write up about Arthouse Box Office.  COMING UP NEXT WEEK:  NovaCinemaHD (Greece) will be screening Queen of the Desert on Wednesday 28 December 2016.  As we head towards the pointy end of 2016, looking forward to seeing how we will end the year.  Until next Sunday when we say goodbye to 2016 and hello 2017 …
