What a fabulous couple of weeks for movie news for Robert – first we get news that Idol’s Eye is back on track and then we hear that The Trap is a go as well. Â You know what else we got this week —-> GO CAMPAIGN: Â Pictures trickled through and thanks to Posh I could put together a compilation video of Robert arriving and on the red carpet. Â Some gorgeous footage as expected. Posh also spoilt us with the piccies. People magazine also had a chance to speak to Robert at the event and they talked to him aboutÂ his work with the charity. We got an update on how much Robert’s fans donated and I got my pic of Robert with Liam Hemsworth – happy days.Â THE LOST CITY OF Z: I came across some photos from the NYFF premiere that were definitely new to me. LIFE: Â Will be screening at the Kinomania Film Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria. I don’t believe LifeÂ has had a theatrical release so that’s exciting. Â QUEEN OF THE DESERT: Â Can also be seen at the Kinomania Festival ahead of its 2 December release. IDOL’S EYE: Â Is now on Robert’s IMDbPro page under pre-production. Â I also love the new summary they have provided. Â And how amazeballs is Jules’ new edit – if you haven’t seen it – check out our Film Page. Â Smashing. Â Also, according to Production Weekly, filming is due to commence in February 2017 which is great news. HIGH LIFE: Â Production Weekly is also showing filmingÂ to commence in May 2017. Â THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER: I love that Film Festivals are still screening this film. I also love the Japanese promoÂ and cinema posters. Â There’s a special run of the film in Michigan – love arthouse cinemas. Â THE TRAP:Â Cartwheeling – uzi wielding surfie Max.Â IN OTHER NEWS: Â I noticed Flicks AU & NZ have listed The Childhood of a Leader as coming to cinemas in 2017. I don’t know of an Aussie distributor, and I know that that website isn’t reliable – they have The Lost City of Z as releasing in Australia on 4 May – problem with that is – that’s the NZ release date and no date has been confirmed for Australia yet. They are different distributors and both have confirmed to me the information I just shared. Anyway something obviously happened for them to update the site *shrugs*. Â Stay tuned. Â Posh shared Dior advertisements in British GQÂ (I got a little excited as it was Robert and Michael Fassbender in same tweet haha – a girl can dream right), L’Uomo VogueÂ and Esquire UK.Â Did you see Jules amazing GO edits that we tweeted here and here.
