According to Gefira.gr, Robert Pattinson “Queen of the Desert” will have a special screening in Athens at Cinema Filothei as follows:

On Wednesday, July 6 at the cinema “Filothei” at 9 pm, will be screened in avant premiere the film director Werner Herzog, “The Queen of the Desert.”
The title role will see the Oscar winner, Nicole Kidman.

The film Spentzos kindly offered stock to enhance the work of the Stray Animal Welfare Protection Association of the Municipality of Filothei – Psychiko (ZO.FI.PSY.).

The event “Let cinema, helping stray” is for the 6th consecutive year.

The proceeds will go to the urgent needs of stray animals of the Municipality of Filothei – Psychiko.

The ZO.FI.PSY. ensure sterilization, health care, hospitality and adoption of stray animals, but also the information and training of municipal residents. The aim of the Union is to find suitable families adopt stray and abandoned animals and thus drastically reduce their number.

Originally, Spentzos had told RPAU that the movie would be released on 14 July 2016, then it was brought forward to 30 June 2016, and now it seems to have been pushed back again.  Spentzos has it now listed on their website under the  “coming soon” tag, so stay tuned.
