What a week! DIOR *GULP* I’m speechless. I was not expecting more Dior goodness, but seeing as Dior’s annual report for 2014 mentioned that Dior Homme had a boost thanks to Rob, it’s no surprise Dior signed him up to be the face of their Autumn ready to wear campaign.  Then to top that Rob’s the cover of Numero Magazine (only 2 issues per year) which is out on 2 March 2016. I can’t wait to see this photoshoot by Jean-Baptiste Mondino. I found that he directed Don Henley’s “Boys of Summer” and Madonna’s “Justify My Love”.  Holy Moly – he’s also the director behind the Johnny Depp Dior commercial. Dior do like to surround themselves with the best don’t they. Seeing as Rob’s making history by being the first Hollywood actor to be the face of Dior’s apparel, I decided to do an initial reaction post.  Unfortunately the only bummer to do with Rob and Dior was me finding out on Friday morning that Dior in Australia have no current plans to promote Rob *sniff*  GOOD TIME:  Always love listening to directors, even more so when they talk or mention Rob. Have to also thank @deesoonz for the heads up that @Robjectify came across a couple of instagram posts from Oscar Boyson, one of the producers of the film. He may very well be doing early preparation for the film since we spy Josh Safdie in one of the pics. THE TRAP:  Will he won’t he? I don’t know but I hope we find out one way or the other soon so that Rob can either be a uzi-wielding surfer or move on to something else to excite us with. However, for those who love listening to directors, I came across the BFI Q&A with Harmony from earlier this month.  LIFE: I think I may need to purchase the German DVD|Bluray just for the extras and how cool is the “Hometown Hollywood Film Series”. QUEEN OF THE DESERT:  Looks like Serbia and Lebanon are both releasing Queen of the Desert in March. And I know I’ve posted the still before, but don’t you just love seeing stills with the word “HQ” next to it, even better when it’s prefaced with BTS. THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER: Finally found out the screening times for the film at the 20th Sofia International Film Festival and in addition there is a second film festival in Sofia screening the film. Love that it’s “by the sea” or “on the beach” depending on who is promoting. Either way it’s playing somewhere and if you live in Sofia you have 4 opportunities to see the film. All of a sudden Sue flying to Bulgaria to watch a film has a little more incentive. And I updated our Lithuania post since Forum Cinemas have added to their “coming soon” as part of the Festival.  IN OTHER NEWS:  The Wrap posted an interesting article about Open Road Films and MadRiver Films stating “The non-exclusive alliance calls for Open Road to have a first-look on U.S. rights to MadRiver titles”.  It is interesting because two of MadRiver’s titles are Lost City of Z and The Trap. Cosmopolis is on Netflix in the US at the moment and thanks to Esquire we got the reminder that it’s expiring in March (18th to be exact).  Well we know that we will be getting a new interview from Rob next Wednesday when Numero magazine comes out. We will bring you that as soon as we can hopefully with a translation from French. Looking forward to some more photos that go with that article/interview. So until next week …

LOL @Maria. I find ‘incentive’ comes very easily when it comes to Rob. Alas, MY incentive doesn’t quite seem to cut it with the rest of my family *can’t imagine why*
Dear DIOR Australia – please change your mind!!!!!!
Not seeing uzi-wielding surfer Rob will make me cry. I am still holding on hoping for the best there.
Ditto Maria and Sue re Diorable Rob. Why punish us?
Awesome work, as per usual, Maria. Thank you
