I’m beginning to wonder how the other months are going to outdo January. So before I focus on Dior, let’s see what has happened in Rob’s film world.  QUEEN OF THE DESERT: Germany still has screenings of the film. Love how they support Werner Herzog. Lebanon and Jordan have pushed back their release dates, and I’m still checking to see what is happening with Iraq, Oman and Bahrain. LIFE: France is gearing up for screenings and Cinema Des Cineastes has added additional screenings of the film amongst others. I’ve also added a link to Télérama Festival’s website which allows you to enter your region and county to find a cinema screening Life near you. Arp Selection also confirmed the French Bluray|DVD release date on twitter. Russia is finally getting LIFE in cinemas (and possibly VOD) on 24 March 2016.  Swiss (French) has pushed back their DVD/Bluray release and the UK and Ireland can now watch LIFE on iTunes prior to the DVD release in February. I tweeted about a competition to win a LIFE Bluray before the UK release at run by @whatculture. Don’t forget Japan, there are still cinemas screening Life. Check out the official Japanese website for more info. Italy seems to be dragging it feet with the DVD release. First BIM Films shows it being released on January 21 on its website but can anyone find it?  The answer is no. Then they mention coming soon on their Facebook, but all I could find was the June release on iTunes. Guess I’m adding that to the list of films to keep an eye on. So now I can talk about DIOR: The fragrance that keeps on giving. And I finally got a larger version of Rob in that polo sweater. Is it greedy to ask for UHQ. The other BTS photos are divine too as is the photoshoot. And wowza Jules’ edits that she’s been tweeting – holy moly. Have you seen them? You can check out some of them on our Instagram or our Twitter timeline on our sidebar. And how freakin amazing is our new banner. Love love love. Thank you Jules *mwah*. I love that we’ve almost been getting a new Dior Intense photo daily. A girl could get used to this. IN OTHER NEWS:  You knew there are more outtakes from Norman Jean Roy’s photoshoot for Details, so I was happy to see those two to start off the week and then we got a few more and if that’s not enough we got larger versions of L’Uomo. Thanks Posh … again.  We were also spoilt with that James White EW photoshoot from 2008 in UHQ. I know that shoot is divisive. Michelle spoilt us with Jerome Fontana for Movie Monday and it must have been an omen since I came across it screening in Romania.  And speaking of Jerome, David Cronenberg spoke to Voici (France) and was asked why he chose Rob for Cosmopolis and Maps to the Stars. Love the respect Rob gets from his directors. Smart people.  Speaking of smart, I retweeted Sally’s tweet of Cahiers du Cinema’s including Lost City of Z as one of the most anticipated films in 2016. Fingers crossed we hear some news next week about LCOZ or TCOAL or something … until then.
