It’s been a really busy week for me so I probably won’t have a lot to say since a lot of my searching time was hampered by real life. In any event, we’ve had some great throwbacks of Rob this week – like that great pic from the Uniqlo Megastore opening in London in 2007. As expected Rob attended the 8th Go Go Gala in LA and didn’t we get some incredibly dapper photos of him. What about Rob and Vin Diesel I really would like to see him behind the wheel of a fast car in Furious 8 after all he is buddies with Michelle Rodriguez. QUEEN OF THE DESERT:  For those living in LA, they had their chance to see a special screening of the film and a Q&A with Werner. Werner is such a trooper turning up with a cracked rib apparently.  The Middle East seems to be gearing up for the release of the film – finally. And I actually got around to finishing up the reviews that have been out since September – blame me going on holidays, life getting busy and release dates taking priority. LIFE: Vertigo Films has been promoting the upcoming release of the film on 20 November. Check out our timeline for lots of retweets like this.  MPictures Thailand has equally been promoting.  I tweeted a link to an interview of Anton’s where he talks about the film, but it is dubbed in Spanish. I did post an English interview done in Spain, which is quite interesting for those who love Anton’s work as well as Rob. THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER: I was hoping that we would eventually get a poster for this film and thanks to the Dubai Intl Film Festival we did. I originally posted a teeny tiny version but thanks to @Nicole2Dogs for the heads up that there was a UHQ version finally on the Dubai Intl FF website. I also found the still of Rob in a huge size, not UHQ because there’s nothing Ultra High about the quality of that pic – other than Rob being in it. I finally put together a roundup of reviews for the film from Venice that I missed and also from SEFF. I’ll add to this review post as the film is slowly released around the world. And I’m still hoping that we see it at Sydney Film Festival. I noticed that the World Cinema Director at Dubai is none other than Nashen Moodley the director of our very own film festival in Sydney. Fingers crossed. Sadly TCoaL didn’t win the Golden Giraldillo at SEFF15.  NEWS I TWEETED: It seems that Madrid is having a premiere screening of Life on 19 November 2015. You can win tickets or buy them.  Don’t forget if you live in Canberra or close by tomorrow is the last chance you will have to see Queen of the Desert at the British Film Festival. Don’t worry as I mentioned previously, the film is still listed in Transmission’s coming soon for 2016. Also don’t forget Life is out now in Thailand check out which cinemas here.  And this isn’t related to Rob but it was brought to my attention. It’s a kickstarter program for a doco on fangirls called “I Used To Be Normal”.  Fascinating – hope it gets made. So let’s see what next week shall bring. Whatever it is, we know it’s going to be great since it involves Rob. Until then.
