Rob is getting some great reviews for his portrayal of Dennis Stock, even if the movie at times isn’t.  But the good so far outweigh the bad, so I wonder if Rob really does read the reviews because if he’s reading the bad reviews it won’t be taking him very long to get through them.  LIFE:  Spain plans to unleash the film in November 2015 and as predicted the premiere will be held at Sitges Film Festival in October.  Individual tickets have now gone on sale.  Lots of other film festivals are doing special screenings of the film and I kind of feel for Anton as he seems to be promoting this film very much on his own.  Shame they couldn’t unleash it earlier this year when Rob may have had more time to help promote it.  Never mind I’d rather we get Lost City of Z than a few red carpet pics.  The thought of adding more DVDs to my Rob collection makes me happy.  I tweeted a link to articles where Luke Davies talks about Life with The Australian and Spook Magazine.  As I have mentioned previously, articles I tweet are linked on our relevant film page.  Don’t forget to check them out for all of Rob’s films.  I also tweeted that Constantin Films (Austria) have updated their website to reflect the impending release of Life next week.  Japan has created an official website, since the film will have a special screening at the Tokyo International Film Festival in October, before it’s theatrical release in December/January.  Gaga Movies have a special tote bag available (limited numbers) for those purchasing advance tickets which have been on sale since yesterday.  A list of the relevant cinemas is included in the post.  I would love that tote as much as I love Japan’s enthusiasm for Rob’s films.  Wonder if Rob is able to attend at Tokyo to make up for missing Deauville, especially since he loves Tokyo.  Again, I find myself saying – an 8 hour flight is not too long at all.  Indonesia looks like they’re getting “Life” some time in October thanks to Feat Pictures response to my query on twitter.  Lots of interviews coming out from magazines although some of them I’m not posting as they are just rehashing other articles.  When you can almost recite the interview before you get to the end, then you know there’s something not right about it lol.  THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER:  Protagonist tweeted another new still (minus Rob) and I love that they have used one of Rob’s stills on their website.  Still excited for Brady what an incredible achievement for his first film.  Those new stills from Lol Crawley are great aren’t they – even though a little dark.  I noticed that he’s removed them from his FB page *oops*.  I hope distributors get behind this film.  THE LOST CITY OF Z:  I tweeted a link to an article in BelfastLive that talked about current filming and posting some set photos of the entire cast.  I don’t know I sat on the fence about posting it on the site knowing full well what Rob thinks about people who hang around the sets and take photos.  It’s a double edged sword because we all want to see him in character, but then I feel bad about doing something I know Rob dislikes.  So when the photo at the train station unleashed I weakened and posted because seeing Henry Costin was just too good to pass up.  Rob looks so dashing, but I won’t be posting any grainy photos of Rob on set sorry if that annoys anyone.  Hopefully we won’t see too many more because I like surprises at the cinema.  THE TRAP:  Not much to report here other than an observation – I noticed Idris Elba’s name has vanished from the cast list on IMDbPro.  Although as we know that could mean nothing since so did Rob for some time, but I did tweet a screencap earlier this week.  Let’s see how long before Idris makes a reappearance.  IN OTHER NEWS:  Jules and Michelle have been spoiling us with edits and flashback posts.  You know how I feel about Jules’ edits.  They never disappoint.  And how great were those Mark Peterson UHQ pics that Michelle posted.  That should be a standard size for all Rob pics.  Looking forward to seeing what next week brings.  I can feel something new in the pipeline or some additional information about one of Rob’s films – I know that sounds obvious, but I can just feel it.  Maybe it’s Dior. Until then …

Remember Me’ & ‘The Rover’ On FOXTEL In September & October
Maria, as always RPAU has walked the right side of the line between reporting on Rob’s career and invasive fanatical behaviour. No complaints here. In fact, just the opposite.
It would be good to have Rob and Dane promote LIFE. I know this helps and I want the best for it. But if it ever comes down to creating or spooking, the choice is clear.
I want that Tote!
Thanks so much for another wonderful review Maria!! 🙂 really appreciate it!!
