Well we may not have had Rob at Venice & Deauville Film Festivals BUT we did see a first glimpse of Rob on The Lost City of Z set as Henry Costin *happy dance* yep safe to say that made us all very happy!  We also had some great casting announcements for the film in Angus Macfadyen & Edward Ashley. So exciting to see this film HAPPENING & doesn’t Rob look beautiful in his costume.  We also got a sneak peak at the iconic scene of Dennis Stock taking James Dean’s photo in Times Square, how wonderful was that.  Only 4 sleeps to go for us Aussie’s, not that we are ever counting or anything *giggles*  LIFE & The Childhood Of A Leader of course premiered at Deauville & Venice & along with that we received a beautiful new still of Rob as Charles.  The first reviews are in from Venice & there are some great positives for Rob & the film, yes let’s focus on those.  We have some great print interviews for LIFE promo, not to mention Rob’s gorgeous acceptance speech for his ‘Hollywood Rising Star’ award. Congratulations once again Rob, no one deserves it more.  Speaking of LIFE, our US friends received a date of December 4 for the film’s release which is wonderful.  December will be here before we know it!  Randwick Ritz also kindly tweeted us the gorgeous LIFE standee they have in their cinema – how awesome is that!  We also received the news that Rob has joined the UN’s Global Goals for Sustainable Development campaign, what a wonderful campaign. Rob has such a beautiful heart. Lucky German fans can pre-order Queen Of The Desert.  I’m not jealous – oh no, not at all lol.  I shared a couple of walk down memory lane’s, you all know how much I love sharing those.  And Jules treated us to her phenomenal edits, seriously Jules, you work never fails to take my breath away – just BEAUTIFUL.   Until next week, when Maria will be back in the ‘week in review’ chair 🙂

Michelle, I will forever be indebted to you for filling for Maria and doing the weekly update. I had somehow missed Rob’s acceptance speech. The thought of actually missing it is too terrifying to contemplate. But I survived this potential catastrophy due to this post.
    Thank you
