NEW PROJECT NEWSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS … that’s me twirling and screaming from the rooftops.  Rob as an astronaut floating around in space which is pretty much how we all feel whenever new photoshoots, movies or anything to do with Rob happens.  I’ve created a Film page for this untitled project which I’ll post information as it comes to hand.  And I tweeted a great little clip that @Robjectify retweeted from @TheTimeRob where Rob said he wanted to work with Claire Denis (and now I know how to pronounce her name properly). THE LOST CITY OF Z: Collider’s video brought a smile to my face.  I love how much the fanboys love Rob and yes this dude can seriously act.  Of course so can Siennah Buck who has just been added to the cast and may not realise how lucky she is being in a film with Rob and Charlie.  Lucky duck.  THE ROVER:  Rob as Rey is so heartbreakingly beautiful that I’m finding it hard to let him go.  Hence why I went searching for some new pics and was rewarded.  LIFE:  First Australian review is out and it’s so positive I could cry.  Not that I was expecting bad reviews, but you can never tell.  There wasn’t much talking and there’s a few more press screenings this week, so we probably won’t see most of the reviews come out until next week.  Joel Edgerton was recently interviewed for The Gift and asked about doing “Life” and he said “I also have a real fondness for Rob Pattinson after his excellent work in The Rover.” via Herald Sun.  I think it’s safe to say Rob is an honorary BlueTongue member.  I’m also loving how individual Facebook, twitter accounts and hopefully websites are cropping up for this movie – UK, Germany and no doubt Japan will get onboard when it’s released there.  I forgot how out of practice I was in keeping up with Rob when his films come out and there hasn’t even been a major promo tour yet.  Although that will change next week with Deauville and Venice.  Speaking of which, Rob is apparently attending Deauville in France and receiving an award.  The added bonus is the French press posting pics of Rob like the one I tweeted on Tuesday night from @LeBleuduMiroir who also tweeted us that Rob is expected on red carpet on 5 September.  Deauville’s website confirmed on Friday night (my time) that Rob will be doing a photocall and press conference with Anton and Dane on 5 September.  On the release front, Pinema, the Turkish distributor, posted the trailer with subtitles on their facebook page with “coming soon”. UniversumFilm|SquareOne has posted the trailer in HD German.  I feel sorry for Germans who miss out hearing Rob’s dulcet tones and the accents are half the character.  But then again, they do seem to get a lot of promotion for this film, like that great new clip featuring Rob.  I tweeted about UK peeps being able to book tickets at Electric Cinema Shoreditch and Groninger Forum (NL) offering discount tix for the 8 Oct 2015 release and I’ve posted about this, but originally I tweeted about Knack (Belgium) giving away 50 double passes.  THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER:  Four press screenings and more reviews will be coming out.  I’m curious though, how is Rob going to do both these festivals.  That’s an incredibly tight schedule – perhaps when La Biennale confirmed him for red carpet they are really saying he’s just doing the red carpet.  Rob may have to forego staying for the screening so he can jump on  a chartered flight to France – do a quick change and be ready for photocall / press conference or maybe not do a quick change and then make our lives difficult for figuring out which event he’s at lol.  Studio L’Equipe also told us that they are putting the finishing touches on the print for La Biennale.  Hopefully we will get a trailer or even a teaser some time  next week. Speaking of teasing – how amazing are Jules’ edits.  I say this all the time and I’ve run out of superlatives for her amazing talent.  You have such a keen eye and yeah nothing I say will do them justice.  You’re a true talent Jules.  Let’s see what next week gives us and well if I’m a little silent it’s because I’m off on holidays for 10 days so you may see me peek in here and there when I can. And no I’m not off to Venice or France unfortunately. Until next week … when we will see Red Carpet Rob x 2 hopefully.

WOW, and what a week it was and so much more is yet to come. Thanks Maria for putting this together, you’re the best.
Fantastic review of a fantastic (major understatement on my part) week!! Thanks so much Maria and enjoy that well earned holiday won’t you?? 🙂 mwah
Thanks Maria & Happy Holidays!
Love your Week in Review, Maria, even when have read separate items. Like being able to watch something serialised and getting it all at once POW!! So much to look forward to – 3 films, love the anticipation and your continual updates. Enjoy your holiday Maria, thank you.
Have a great holiday, Maria – you surely deserve it with all you do for us who come and dip our toes (and sometimes immerse ourselves whole) into RobLife. Wonderful news all round – upcoming screenings, red carpet events, press conferences, new roles – it surely has been an awesome week!
New project! Twirling around weightless at that news.
I’ve been into Joel’s interviews too. One, because he, himself is amazing and The Gift sounds awesome and Two – I’ve been hoping he would name drop Rob. I’m glad he has. The thought of the Blue Tongue group and Rob together warms my heart
Happy Holiday Maria!
