HOLY FREAKIN MOLY.  We didn’t get one but two trailers (well three if you count the Aussie one that doesn’t have the French subtitles) for Life and if that wasn’t exciting enough, Lost City of Z is filming, Good Times is now in pre production and The Trap is back on Rob’s IMDb page.  HAPPY FREAKIN DAYS.  It’s all happening Rob film wise so let’s get on with it.  LIFE:  The “Life” promo is starting to gather steam.  ARP has updated its header, Transmission added the trailer in its lead up to release in less than a month.  Vertigo Films seems to be keeping us in the dark about the Spanish release date.  They posted on their Facebook that “LIFE” will be released at the end of 2015.  Yet Fotogramas claims it’s being released on 16 October and Vertigo’s site (the distributor, not our very own) also has an October release date, but maybe that’s for the Sitges Film Festival that runs from 9 to 18 October 2015.  Tricky tricky.  I put together the reviews for Trailer Buzz, there’s some really great things said about Rob in a few and some really ignorant comments that make me think they don’t even bother to watch any of his films with an unbiased opinion.  Oh well their loss not mine.  I also updated the International Review post as a few more came through. @enamoramiento1 offered to translate the critic.de review from Germany because she thought it was so on point.  I’m glad she did, it’s such a great review of the film as a whole and Google translate really made it sound negative.  Grateful for her to do that for us as I know how much time it can take.  QUEEN OF THE DESERT:  Things are heating up for this film too.  I noticed that Chantier Films updated their Facebook and Twitter headers on Thursday.  Norway now has a distributor, although no release date as yet, but then again neither does the UK or Australia *sobs*.  THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER:  We found out the screening dates for The Childhood of a Leader at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival.  The premiere is on 5 September and another screening the following day.  It appears Rob will be attending, but there seems to be a tussle since he was supposedly also rumoured to be attending the Life premiere in Paris at the Deauville American Film Festival on the same evening.  I did see that the artistic director of Venezia72 did confirm Rob’s attendance.  Looking forward to some red carpet Rob like the gems posted by Michelle from Berlinale.  We were certainly spoilt with some older photos being unleashed that’s for sure.  LOST CITY OF Z:  Have I told you how excited I am that Rob and Charlie are actually in a film together and it’s filming!  Main Title Pictures, the South Korean distributors, are just as excited which convinced us to post Jules’ wonderful banner she did for us.  You know how nervous and superstitious we are now lol.  Anyway, how amazing is that banner.  I love all the intricate details Jules puts into her work.  Stellar job as usual.  Speaking of which, go check out our Film page.  Thanks to Jules I updated Life and Queen of the Desert.  Jules also created this amazing “LIFE” gif which we tweeted today – in case you missed it. Lastly, I posted about the release date for Nick Osborne’s last instalment in his trilogy “Release”.  I know there are a few of you out there waiting for this.  It’s a great read and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.  Love Nick, he’s a true gem.  Can’t wait to see what next week brings … until then.
