The week started off with Vertigo sharing her wonderful collage of Rob moments from 2014. I put together a list of “must see” films of 2015 that included LIFE, Queen of the Desert and Maps to the Stars. Again, The Rover and Maps to the Stars were included in even more “Best of 2014” lists and WOWZA how about that outtake from Esquire.  C’mon there’s more of them somewhere gimme gimme gimme. I was listening to a podcast with Joel Edgerton because I thought he may talk Life – he didn’t, but I did then notice that Susan Prior also had had a chat with Aussies in LA and I was mesmerised by what she said about Rob. I think the comment that stuck in my mind was Susan describing Rob just standing out in the rain appreciating it. It reminded me of David Michôd’s story of Rob walking down the street in Maree with a smile and being so happy that he was able to do it without anyone bothering him. And still people know that story and still think it’s okay to bother him in his private time *shakes head*. Queen of the Desert and LIFE continue to make “must see” or “movies to look out for” in 2015 and speculation that they will either premiere at Cannes or Telluride. September looks so far away … The Childhood of a Leader also made a few “must see or most anticipated” list with this wonderful quote from IonCinema “It goes without saying that most of the attention will be placed on Robert Pattinson, continuing his tour of difficult, auteur driven and inspired cinematic projects”.  I don’t know why that makes me so happy. I also retweeted Mona Fastvold’s tweet yesterday – they are back in Budapest location scouting and prepping I guess. Hopefully things are on track for filming to start soon. [For those without Twitter you can always check our Twitter timeline on the sidebar of the site]. The Rover was unleashed on Amazon Instant Video which gave us a lovely new still of Rey. Gotta love that The Rover is still the gift that keeps on giving. Oh and Maps to the Stars will be a special presentation at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival (screening date to be advised). I should also let you all know that our Vimeo account was deleted by Vimeo on Saturday. Apparently (said with air quotes) someone put in a complaint about us breaching copyright. C’est la vie as I said on Twitter. I have made the latest video on YouTube private – sorry about that. What this means though is all our Golden Years videos no longer exist on our posts, but I’ll work towards somehow uploading them somewhere or rectifying it eventually. It won’t however affect the Golden Years series we have in the pipeline for The Rover or Maps or any future films, it just means we will have to work around it. It also means that my days of making Rob videos may be over. That’s a lot of time wasted. Thanks whoever reported us. Anyway onwards and upwards as I always say and we brought back A-Z appreciation starting off with the letter “F” hmmm how fitting …

OH MY GOD! Someone COMPLAINED?!!!! NO MORE VIDEOS? You know that F word? Well, it’s currently being chanted over and over in my mind right now …….. Such a mean-spirited thing to do. Sometimes it boggles my mind, the behaviour of others. I’m reminded of a quote about karma …… I think you all know it.
On a positive note – look at all these goodies I have to catch up on! Wow, looks like it’s going to be Xmas in my house for weeks, while I enjoy every morsel! Thanks Ladies, I just know I’m going to love every post …….
I still haven’t listened to that podcast. It sounds wonderful.
I do love RPAU has the Twitter bar on the side. I still don’t really ‘get’ how to follow a thread but it the side bar lets me stick my pinky toe into the Twitterverce. That’s as far as I desire to go
They WHAT???? What a mean spirited thing to do. Maria, your videos just keep getting better and better. I will be very sorry to miss out seeing any more unveiled,. I also admire your attitude in looking forwards rather than dwell on the wrong doing.
No more Maria videos…?!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! There is (or should be) a special place in hell for flaggers and trolls. preferably in the darkest hottest, corner with plenty of ice water which they alone can’t access. Boil, you bitches.
Ahh, I feel a bit better now. Back to what’s important. It’s been another great week with plenty of gems turning up for us to enjoy, keeping us in the loop. Thanks to all the wonderful ladies who contributed posts this week!
LOL @Trish
