Here we are again … except this week we had one of those Rob surprises that I, and I’m sure all of you, just love. Rob playing guitar on a Death Grips’ track from 2013. Oh yeah baby – nice surprise Rob. I mean do we really need to relive anything else this week? Oh I spent hours researching who the hell Rob’s character may be on The Childhood of A Leader and well I really think Rob’s character might be fictitious. It’s a quandry since Brady seems to want to play us lol. Not that I blame him because I”ve decided that I much prefer going into Rob films without spoilers (taking a leaf out of Carmel’s book who I watched Maps with and loved her reactions). Oh wait there was something else to twirl about – Cassian Elwes tweet about Queen of the Desert. Bring on 2015.  Also Anton Corbijn talked about post production on LIFE and I saw the German distributors were hinting that the movie may be released to coincide with the 60th anniversary of James Dean’s death. That’s a nice touch but I don’t know if I want to wait until 30 September! Jules surprised us with her new technique on her edits – am loving the darkness and light. I really think you should continue experimenting Jules especially if that’s your first attempt *fansself*. We had a little fun with our A-Z and Michelle spoilt us with her black and white montage. Nice little way to end November. Now Rob what surprises do you have for us in December?  Bring it on Rob bring it on …
Don’t forget if you miss any of the weeks they’re all listed in our Master Posts tab under RPAU Week in Review.

Wow. No wonder we need a review. This week has been jammed packed full of incrediblness. Rob on guitar is the stuff of dreams though. Seriously, not much can top that.
I hope BC keeps our Leader under wraps. It’s been fun trying to solve the puzzle he has set. Even if he is real ( Prescott *coughcough*) I think there will be a fair bit of poetic license thrown in.
LOL @Carmel it can’t be Prescott because he wasn’t involved with putting together the Treaty of Versaille – he was in the armed forces not a diplomat and I think we really have to take what is on Protagonist Pics synposis: “Loosely inspired by the early childhood experiences of many of the great dictators of the 20th Century and infused with the same sense of dread as The Others and The Omen, The Childhood of a Leader is an ominous portrait of emerging evil.” But if you are right I will admit defeat!
Another phenomenal week here at RPAU.
@Maria & @Carmel. I found myself drawn into your little detective games re Childhood of a Leader …..after a couple of hours, I gave up, and decided 2 things. Firstly, I bet it’s a fictitious character and secondly, if it’s not, either of you will work it out for us, faster than I will LOL!
So agree re going into Rob’s movies’s without spoilers, especially when Rob has a supporting role. Now if someone can just make me NOT click on those darn trailers etc when they come in …….
Oh… the ‘cover’ this week is phenomenal! is this Jules’ doing? Thanks to the amazing team at RPAU for your contributions this week. As ever, all this news has us coming back day after day after day. Exciting times ahead!
@Maria – I admit you are probably right about the fictitious person. But the clues are contradicting themselves. Take your Protagonist Pics quote about ‘great dictors’ and the ‘titular leader’ reference. They cancel each other out.
They are playing with my head! I love it!
