Ceddie 18rob-at-clocktower3Edward Solo

Goblet of Fire (No. 28), New Moon (No. 20)  & Eclipse (No. 43) baby.  I guess we COULD also add OoP at (30) since there are a few glimpses of Rob in that – you should have listened Cedric *giggles*.  This is ranked by total reported box office gross and the figures are current dollars, so they have not been adjusted for inflation.  Told you Australia has lost interest in Twilight saga by the time BD1 & BD2 came along.  We are a fickle bunch.  Note:  the highlighted movies are Aussie films and not highlighted by me 😀

I love that Rob was in the HP series. The English really showed Hollywood how to make a quality ‘saga’ over a prolonged period of time. If only Summit was taking notes.
I am happy to see Rob so well represented across the board. Thanks Maria

That they did Carmel. The HP movies were such quality, from beginning to end with GOF of course being the best 😀 Love that Rob was a part of them.

I can’t believe I’m going to defend The Twilight Saga, but it can’t really be compared to HP films in that – the children were able to age in the HP movies like they did in the books. It was impossible for Rob to continue to play Edward frozen in time when he was aging every year. They clearly should have thought of that before casting someone of Rob’s age. I guess they really were hedging their bets with the possibility that the movie would tank.

Live and learn I guess 🙂

And for us Rob fans at least it opened doors for him so we can continue to enjoy his movies 🙂

And no I’m not delirious lol in case you think I’m actually claiming Rob’s success is solely from Twilight – it’s catch 22 – Rob owes success to Twilight – as Twilight owes its success to Rob :))
