There are truly no words in existence to express how much I adore Rob’s performance as Dali in this beautiful film. Brilliant & breathtaking are the closest but honestly, no word has been invented that could ever do him & it justice. When trying to choose a fave scene, like Maria I really did struggle. I adore each & every single moment in this film – they are all beautiful, touching & so very special. After much thought I came to rest upon this scene where as we know, Dali paints Little Ashes. I chose this one for so so many reasons & it has always especially stood out to me. Even though the first part of the scene has no words, Rob’s body language, facial expressions & actions say it all.  This is such a tender, beautiful & special moment between Dali & Lorca & everytime I watch this scene with that beautiful music that plays in the background, I feel exactly the same way – speechless, believe everything they say to each other & believe 100% in their feelings for each other. Rob & Javier are absolutely brilliant together. Dali & Lorca’s relationship is such a complicated, beautiful & heartbreaking one & they convey this all so perfectly. I could seriously go on forever & ever with my praise for Rob & the film & every single word is so thoroughly deserved. All who have had the privilege of seeing this film & experiencing Rob’s superb performance – you know exactly what I mean. To anyone who has not seen Little Ashes, I urge you to. It will take your breath away & without doubt – stay with you forever.

Michelle – i just love this scene too. Seriously how can they NOT see what Rob is capable of from this film. I need to get me a job as a film critic because I don’t have any issues with saying what I think even if it goes against the grain. No fear – NO LIMITS – that’s how everyone should live.

Little Ashes is how I feel whenever I see this film – because Rob and Javier sizzle so much on screen that I feel like I self combust. Hahaha – pathetic yes?

LOL not pathetic at all Maria. I am exactly the same. Rob & Javier are just absolutely AMAZING together.

I just cannot understand how anyone could watch & not agree that Rob is brilliant in this role. Seriously anyone who does not appreciate him & this film – I have to question their sanity!
