I have to agree with Vertigo & Michelle – Rob’s performance as Toby Jugg just had me spellbound.  I still remember when I came across this whilst searching for, believe it or not, James McAvoy in Shameless quite some years ago. Rob’s performance made me realise that Rob really was something special and that the world was yet to understand this talent. After that there really was no turning back for me.  Sorry James, but I had to leave you by the wayside.  This scene is probably my favourite of the entire film (and it’s not because he’s declaring his love for an older woman – oh okay Freud may have something different to say about that).  Anyhoo – here’s my choice – I could go on and on but it’s already been said and we wouldn’t want me to be abused about “waxing lyrical” about Rob again – you still out there Kat???  I hope you are enjoying our Haunted Airman week – there’s loads more treats in store over the next few weeks as we share some of our favourite Rob moments – so I guess I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the person who made this possible – Rob you are one in a billion and we love that you keep us entertained!

Yes Rob you are that very special actor that comes along only rarely and we just love you!! Thanks Maria, for another great Toby moment!!

    Love your choice Maria, it’s also one of my faves as well. Revisiting the brilliance that is Rob as Toby this week has been so wonderful – I have enjoyed every minute. Rob is just so very special, no one else like him in the whole world. I am so grateful that I & we have the privilege of witnessing & enjoying his brilliant career. We love ya Rob & thank you for being you!

    Ah yes Kat – so very quiet now aren’t we!!!

    Another one of my fave scenes too. Rob seems to be rather comfortable around older women. Just sayin …

    Thanks for sharing this clip, Maria. Haven’t seen the movie as yet but am drawn by Toby’s melancholy. BTW, I’m a James McAvoy-now-Rob fan as well, lol. I’ll admit to having a thing for different actor, but Rob is top man – he’s delicious and talented, pretty much covers all the bases.

    @Vertigo – I agree…and I like it. 😉
