shirtless-rob2

It’s another slow news day (which I think in Rob’s world is a good thing) so I thought I would share an article by Larry Carroll of MTV where he interviewed some of Rob’s Twilight costars last Sunday about how they think he’s coping with his sudden fame.   (Rob no use holding your head – just get used to the fact that you are bigger than Obama because I know who I’d rather see/hear about).  My favourite response came form Peter Facinelli:

“I’ve talked to Rob about it, and he’s just paranoid all the time now,” Peter Facinelli revealed, admitting that the newfound fame does sometimes become difficult for his onscreen son. “Like, even to go down to the Starbucks, he’s ducking behind cars and does a roll-flip to the coffee shop. Then he gets up, and there’s nobody there — but then the one time that he doesn’t do that, that’s when there’s like 10,000 paparazzi jumping out of the bushes.”

They must be so over being asked about Rob except, of course, for Klutz since he knows it gets him media coverage – by the way Klutz didn’t hear of you being bunked down in Rob’s room in Italy – surely there would have been a photo of you somewhere.  You can read the full article and see a short video of Mike Welch and Christian Serratos talking about Rob here.  Oh and I love Larry’s comment about Nikki Reed and Anna Kendrick celebrating their big night at the Awards.  Did anyone else notice them there or was Nikki hiding in Kristen’s award which is why it was so heavy and she dropped it?  Lol – that girl will stop at nothing for some media attention.

Oh, Maria, you had to go and post that picture! Now I know I won’t be accomplishing anything this morning, except staring at Rob’s… um… eyes? 😉

I was thinking about that comment by Peter, yesterday… obviously he’s exaggerating about ducking and roll-flips, but he certainly is only half-joking and not too far from the truth… that hood that Rob wears… I hate it, seriously. I hate what it represents, I hate that Rob feels forced to wear it to hide from the vultures.

Yesterday I stumbled into a picture of him, hooded, walking into a horde of paparazzi… I was utterly horrified. His expression and posture were absolutely heart-breaking… he looked like a lamb going to the slaughter :(… I really do not know how he can bear it, but I pray to God that it will be over soon, that tabloids and paparazzi will soon lose interest in him and that he will be able to return to a somewhat normal life. *Before* he snaps, please.
