Bel Ami has now been listed on Rob’s IMDb as “In Development”. It says “more information on IMDbPro”, but there really isn’t more information there, except to say it’s been optioned.  As for preliminary cast, again it’s only listing Rob at the moment. I can understand why noone else may be cast for this film, but I wonder when they are going to let us know who will be joining Rob in Remember Me. They certainly like to tease and keep us guessing.

I’ve restarted reading the book, in French this time, because the English online translation I found was horrid (it wasn’t even a proper translation, I’ve realised, more like a summary: all the nice descriptions were cut out… and still, I could already understand how good the story and character were), and the more I’m getting into it, the more I love it, can’t wait to see how it ends!
Eventually, I’m going to get the book in English, as well. As a former translator, I am curious about how a (proper) English translation would turn out.
Anyway, Georges is going to be fun… for all the wrong reasons! Hee! 😀
