Robert Pattinson included in GQ Australia ~ March | April 2018 Issue
GQ Australia created a new section entitled “Gentleman’s Initiative” which is a stand alone – pull out section that celebrates those who “inform, entertain and inspire us to make the world a better place”. Rob is featured in the first section “Introducing The Pioneers You Need to Know About”. In other words, Rob is included in a list of the movers and shakers “you need to know, from the up-and comers to the established names. These are 10 men to watch in 2018”. Oh we’re watching Rob don’t you worry – we’ve been watching him for over 10 years. I can’t think of a better person to include in this inaugural list and section.
We know what you’re thinking: isn’t that the dude from Twilight ? Well, yes, but he’s more than that. Since he wrapped his time as pastybloodsucker, Edward Cullen, in 2012, Pattinson has set about shaping one of the most interesting trajectories in film, carefully selecting projects that have redefined him far beyond the blockbusters that launched his career. He’s released a string of strong indie performances, including Australian film The Rover (2014). He’s also supported a range of causes, including Haiti relief, Stand Up to Cancer, Australia’s Royal Flying Doctor Service and in 2015 became the first ambassador of the GO Campaign, which raises funds for vulnerable children.
WHAT’S NEXT? High Life, later this year.
Thanks George for the heads up. Also if you want to be reminded about Rob’s support of the Australian Royal Flying Doctor Service, click on the hyperlink. I know one of our friends and followers doesn’t need a reminder and she was also a great supporter!
Issue on stands from 5 March 2018
This is brilliant. What a wonderful idea to highlight the causes as well as the careers of our Hollywood idols. Well done GQ
And those awsome Flying Dr supporters 😉
