A few people have hinted at wanting Rob to take on the iconic role of Charles Manson in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming 1969 film project.  Here’s Rob’s response to ET Canada on that exact question during the Good Time premiere at Montreal (which could point towards him not wanting the role even if it’s offered).

From ET Canada

When asked if there were Charles Manson vibes in his latest flick, the star replied: “I was like, ‘Wait a second. That looks like the famous photo.’ It’s weird, not sure how it happened. I loved that book when I was a kid… there’s elements of the character that are Charles Manson-y,” he added, in reference to Ed Sanders’ notorious 1971 “The Family” book photo.

However, he then joked when quizzed on whether he should play him in a movie: “He’s too short, I could get on my knees.”

Not too much is known about Tarantino’s upcoming movie other than that the brutal Manson family murders will provide a “backdrop to the main story.”
