Robert Pattinson is Charles Marker from The Childhood of a Leader

“The tragedy is not that one man has the courage to be evil, but that so many have not the courage to be good” Charles Marker, The Childhood of a Leader

As I mentioned in a previous Movie  Monday, Robert Pattinson may only have a few scenes in this film, but they are  pivotal.  Also pivotal, when it comes to Robert’s career, are the positive comments made about his performance.  Here are a few more as a reminder:

“English actor Robert Pattinson, his virtuosity and range finally exploited” Fabled

“Pattinson’s first scene is a revelation that should put Twilight to bed for good, …” 3/5, One Room with A View

“Pattinson is proving to be a strong character actor more than capable of fitting into an ensemble.” The Young Folks

“Robert Pattinson has two roles that comprise fifteen minutes of screen-time combined. His presence endorses rather than enables this winningly strange vision. … We are avid followers of the Pattinsonasance.” Little White Lies

I had forgotten that Little White Lies coined “Pattinsonasance” – might have to use that one occasionally.  Anyway, here are a few more of my favourite promo stills and some of Jules’ beautiful edits.
