I get wary at all these postings of release dates for The Lost City of Z from Studio Canal as 4 May 2017.  We know that 4 May is the definite date for New Zealand – Studio Canal NZ confirmed that to me in an email, but now we’re seeing Germany via Zelluloid also posting 4 May 2017 as the release date.  If you look at the release schedule for Germany, it doesn’t have LCOZ listed, but that was current as at October 2016 and I know things can change. I also know that Flicks AU had it listed for Australia on that date too, but we definitely know that the Australian date is yet to be confirmed and Flicks have now updated their site to “undated 2017“.  Also, since I’m talking Studio Canal and release dates, we posted earlier that the UK release date was May 2017, but Studio Canal UK is now showing the date as TBC and Studio Canal France released their upcoming films on Tuesday with no LCOZ in sight. Anyway I thought I would post, but I will definitely keep an eye on this and update as soon as I know more.
