Some great treats this week – some really great treats. THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER:  We found out that the film will screen on 21 October as part of the Riga International Film Festival. I’ve updated upcoming UK screenings for October and November. The film is also having a screening in Sweden. Volga Films has a competition to win a code to unlock and watch the film for free on iTunes. They’ve also listed the cinemas still screening the film in Russia, Armenia, Belarus & Kazakhstan. THE LOST CITY OF Z: Another release date – this time for the Czech Republic. IMDbPro has also marked the film as “complete”. DIOR: Always keeping us on our toes – wonderful night shots Mr Lagerfeld.  Wonderful.  Posh has spoilt us too with a page from Esquire Singapore. I love that Dior knows how to surprise us. QUEEN OF THE DESERT:  Cassian Elwes confirms new US distributor to be announced in coming weeks, plus movie to play in 100 cinemas. Stay tuned. IN OTHER NEWS:  I thought I would start the week off celebrating Robert’s performance as Rey in The Rover. Still love that film so much. Posh spoilt us with some great photos this week – Capital FM in UHQ and HQ photoshoot pics from EW 2008 Breakout Stars, Dossier, LA Promo Portraits and The Hollywood Reporter. Gucci Mane did an interview with GQ Magazine this week where he mentions he will be filming Harmony Korine’s “The Trap”.  Waiting with baited breath to see what happens with that as I’d love to see Robert in a film with Al Pacino.  I also wanted to see Robert in a film with Robert De Niro but that looks it’s not happening even if Idol’s Eye goes ahead – apparently with a new cast. Michelle again keeping us up to date with Robert’s films on Australian TV - I love that she does that.  Coming up next week:  The Childhood of a Leader can be seen in the UK at Poly Falmouth (Cornwall), Roses Theatre (Cotswold), Stoke Film Theatre, Prince Charles Theatre (London) and Chichester Cinema (New Park).  Looking forward to hopefully receiving more treats next week – yes Dior I’m looking at you.  Until then …
