Robert’s performance as Eric Michael Packer is still a standout for me. I’m so glad David Cronenberg saw what we have all seen and gave Robert the opportunity to show what he is capable of. I’m also thankful that Colin Farrell decided Total Recall was  a better role and left this film.  See sometimes all the ducks do line up.

I live Rob as Eric. So many great scenes in this film. That last one was so powerful. I feel like I’m holding my breath every time until the music starts.

Agree @Debbie that final moment. Even people who didn’t like the film as a whole agreed with me that those last 10 mins with Rob and Paul was a powerful scene.

100% agree with you ladies. that last scene with Rob and Paul Giamatti I was holding my breath my heart was beating so fast. and then I just sat there. That scene still has an affect on me, Rob and Paul Giamatti it was mesmerising the young gifted actor going blow by blow with the brilliant highly acclaimed Giamatti, Rob was superb. I love the movie I have watched it so many times, I thank David Cronenberg for choosing Rob.” Cosmopolis”, one of the most underated movies , along with “The Rover.” But when you read what movies are slobbered over by the critics you feel like grabbing a bottle of wine heading off to sit in the toilet becaues you know your going through up everytime you hear the luvvie club waffle on ,I sometimes wish the critics ears would turn into arseholes and crap over their shoulders.

We natrally love all Rob’s performances but some stand above the others and always will no matter what great films follow. Cosmopolis will always be the game changer. ITA with you Ladies, that last scene is incredibly moving and probably still my favorite from Rob’s body of work

@Barbara – oh hell. Don’t tell me there is a spelling room I should have been going to….. unless that’s where the Naughty Corner is. Two birds with one stone.
