I posted yesterday that the target of $13,000 for #weGOforRob birthday project was reached and exceeded.  I also hoped people could keep donating to see what end tally we could reach. The GO Campaign has now extended the campaign and had this to say:

You guys are AMAZING!!!  We have BLOWN DOORS off of our $13,000 goal, and in response to your urging, we are INCREASING our goal from $13,000 to $17,000 and EXTENDING our campaign for TWO WEEKS!!!  So please continue to spread the word and join in the fun so that we can show Rob how much we love him as he enters his third decade!!! And we hear that you don’t even want to stop there!  Due to popular demand, we are setting a 2016 goal of $30,000 so that we can continue Rob’s birthday celebration all year long!  He will be so thrilled to know that his fans are doing so much to help orphans and vulnerable children all over the world in his honor. Robert Pattinson has been an incredibly valued supporter of GO campaign for years. His passion for improving the lives of children around the world has allowed him to become an inspiring advocate for GO Campaign’s mission. In 2015 we had the honor and privilege of naming Robert as our first Ambassador! Truly, we couldn’t feel more grateful to have his continued support through the years.

Let’s do this.  Keep donating.  As I’ve said before no donation is too small – we CAN make a difference to someone’s life for the better.  Here’s a reminder of what our donations can do:

With a $10 donation, you can equip 2 girls in the Democratic Republic of the Congo with Stay-in-School kits, which help to ensure they can continue their education

With a $30 donation you can provide 5 chickens as an income-generating project for an orphanage caring for 30 children in Tanzania

With a $100 donation, you can provide 230school lunches for indigenous children in Peru’s Sacred Valley

With a $300 donation, you can help prevent incidents of suicide amongst LGBTQ youth and enrich the lives of 80 children through camp programs in Los Angeles that foster a sense of community
