David Fleischer wrote an interesting article about filming in Toronto and Robert Pattinson “Life”. Â Here’s an extract and some of the photos.
“Toronto has been a big part of Robert Pattinson making the shift from dreamy-eyed vampiric hunk to bona fide actor. He shot two movies here with David Cronenberg—Cosmopolis and Maps to the Stars—before returning with Anton Corbijn to shoot last year’s Life. It came and went without too much fuss, but the story, about Life Magazine photographer Dennis Stock and his relationship with James Dean, isn’t so bad.”
You should head over to the Torontoist to read the full article.
Thanks to @TorontoWFL for bringing this to our attention.  Remember we posted about their book that featured Robert and Cosmopolis here and here
“It came and went without too much fuss” I thought the movie was superb the acting flawless, It didn’t seem to be handled right, one of the problems for me was the lack of cinemas it was shown at.
“Life” is one of my favourite Rob movies. Thank goodness his next movie The L C OF Z will have wide showing.
Following Rob has opened my eyes to all the wonderful entertainment found in these small productions. As the big studios seem to only invest in ComicCom franchises, worthwhile stories about the simple human condition have to be hunted out. In this way, living in a major city really can make it a whole lot easier.
Robert Pattinson one of the gifted and mesmerising young actors of his generation.
He never disappoints.
