Twirls through RPAU Week in Review this week thanks to Lost City of Z, Good Time and celebrating Jules’ birthday.  LOST CITY OF Z: Marked complete *massivefistpump* GOOD TIME: The Safdie Bros are cheeky buggers aren’t they.  They update IMDb as filming the day after filming’s complete on 23 March and now miraculously on 9 April it’s in post production. Love their style. QUEEN OF THE DESERT: I love that we are getting TE Lawrence promotional pictures in UHQ.  Thank you Posh as always.  I contacted Wanda Films (Spain’s  distributor) this week and they advised they wouldn’t be doing a theatrical release, but they would be releasing on TV. I’m trying to find out whether it’s Netflix etc, so stay tuned. Also, South Africa has pushed the release forward by 2 days – so only 10 days to go South Africa.  THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER:  I updated the reviews with a couple of great ones that have come out of Turkey this week. And no suprise great reviews came out with the film winning the Golden Tulip Special Jury Prize. Wonderful news. I cannot wait to see this film. Ukraine has added the film to its September releases, thanks to Volga who are also releasing in Russia on same day. Sweden has added a DVD/Bluray alert and Kino Zeit (Germany) for cinema release LIFE: The Ukraine were quiet in releasing this film. Lucky I’m on top of it lol. Hong Kong has been posting some great articles on EDKO’s facebook page like this one. Also if you are in The Netherlands, Pathe is still screening the film in April to July. THE GO CAMPAIGN: We are supporting the collaboration of The Go Campaign and @RobPBirthdayPro to raise funds in honour of Rob’s 30th Birthday. It’s an extremely worthy cause and Rob’s fans are so generous.  The target is $13,000 and well I don’t think we will have a problem reaching that as a fandom when you think they raised $2,000 in the first hour.  Keep an eye on our tweets on the sidebar of the site if you’re not following on Twitter or via their websites in our post. I’m also updating the tally on the sidebar each morning and evening so you can keep abreast of how things are going. I don’t normally ask people for money, but just think if a $1,000 donation can empower 2,500 young Nepalese girls to become entrepeneurs – imagine was $13,000 or more could do. Rob’s fans generosity has raised over $120,000 for the GO Campaign. That’s an incredible achievement.  Also as I mentioned, you should follow RobPBirthdayPro as they have some great polls and giveaways happening in the lead up to 13 May.  MAPS TO THE STARS: Can’t think of a better way to spending National Canada Day. THE TRAP:  Auditions on 10 May you say … keeping an eye on this. Seeing Rob and Al Pacino in a film together is a bucket list tick seeing as Bobby De Niro didn’t come to fruition. IN OTHER NEWS: Emilie de Ravin was asked about working with Robert during Remember Me and her response was as expected “Fun and inspiring! He’s quite the comedian and a great actor”. Wow that photo from Rome by Christian Aust. Somehow Michelle and Christian had some kind of telepathy on Monday night since they both posted Rome 2008 pics.  Posh spoilt us yet again with some Dior 2013 shots in much much better quality. Instagram was also giving us some Rob moments. Shame The Lost City of Z wasn’t included in the Cannes line up but the silver lining is that we will probably see Rob at Venice and/or TIFF in August/September. Looking forward to seeing what is unleashed next week.  Remember, if you are able to donate to The GO Campaign please do so – every cent makes a difference to the lives of those who are being helped.  If we all just donated even $1 – imagine the difference that could make.  Until next week …

What a week. I hope Jules is still celebrating.
@Michelle,sorry but I don’t think posting Rome Rob at the same time as Christian Aust is such a coincidence. Not having Rome Rob on your mind on a Monday morning would have been more suprising.
Rob has actually invited his fans to join with him and the Go Campaign. We don’t have to be passive supporters here. We can participate and do some measurable good. More power to the Go Campaign. I’m looking forward to the updates here on RPAU.
