Lawrence

We saw that Transmission posted an official trailer on their YouTube on Monday and now we know that the release date in Australia is 2 June 2016.  I will update as soon as I can whether this is an Australia wide or limited release.  But for now, pencil it in your diaries and don’t forget to watch the trailer below. New Zealand I’ll find out if it will be the same for you. Stay tuned.

UPDATED: 18 March 2016

Transmission confirmed to RPAU this morning that the 2 June release date is for Australia only at this stage.  New Zealand’s release date is still to be confirmed.  The Australian release will be “Australia wide”, but screens won’t be confirmed for a few more weeks.  We will keep you posted as soon as the information is to hand on both.

I say this because it is true .Robert Pattinson has never
put in a below par performance on screen.
    My standouts and favourites are.
    “The Rover” perfection 5*****
    “Cosmopolis” 5*****
    “Life” 5*****
in fact whenever he is on the screen he owns it.
This gifted young actor is only now being noticed
by the bleary critics, who constantly dismissed him as a flake.
    David Cronenberg
    David Michod
    Anton Corbijin
Three very gifted Directors, looked passed the beauty and saw a smart, highly intelligent and dedicated actor. I watched “The Rover ” last night, my goodness when you read the papers or turn on the news, you see what was up there on the screen is what is happening in the real world. What a brilliant movie, what brilliant acting.

Agree @Barbara. The Rover was so underrated and I’ve had comments from people I know who totally loved the film and yes they are men and yes they think Rob’s performance was fantastic. I have no idea why it was so overlooked. It is one of my favourite films of all time and not just because of Rob and David.

@Maria I have lost count of the times I have watched the dvd, I have never understood why Rob is ignored by the critics but really they only seem to have one eye and dust for brains when you see the tripe that is gushed over. When Rob starred in Cosmopolis I was convinced they would rave about him, I was shocked with the reviews, Rob was in every scene
and he was sensational his scene with Paul Giamatti was mind blowing, anyone with half a brain could see that. ( oops I tend to get carried away when I talk about the amazing talent
    of Robert Pattinson.
