According to KFTV.com:
“Charlie Hunnam, Robert Pattinson and Sienna Miller are on board a new feature set to film in Belfast and Colombia.
Principal photography gets underway in the next ten days on The Lost City of Z, based on the account by David Grann of British explorer Col. Percy Harrison Fawcett (Hunnam) who, in 1925, disappeared with his son in the Mato Grosso region of Amazonian Brazil while searching for an ancient lost civilisation. [My emphasis]
Since then, it is estimated that around 100 others have died or gone missing while trying to uncover the fate of the original expedition.”
Thanks to @RobsPromotion for the find.
Divine, This movie sounds like a can’t wait for it to be filmed then released like “Life” so interesting and also very sad.
Rob being attached to it for me is a no brainer I have seen all his movies he is a gifted actor who is not afraid to take on the raw and vulnerable roles he is in fact fearless.
Rob to me is Champagne Strawberries and Pavlova, = Heavenly
I am keeping my breathe held until the camera’s actually start rolling on this one. Benedict’s reported prediction still haunts me
@Carmel me thinks Benedict knew HE might have been pulling out. He signed my copy of LCoZ and said “I shouldn’t have even done that” lol. Either way – I’ve got a special copy of David Grann’s book 🙂
